SNGLRTY’s One Hand Indication (OHI) watch tells the time with one moving hand and a minute disc, rather than separate hour and minute hands. The unusual display is the watch’s central appeal—and its main compromise: it offers a distinctive way to read time, but takes practice compared with a conventional dial. SNGLRTY’s published specifications distinguish OHI2 and OHI4 by movement, stated rate, power reserve, case execution and configuration. The maker’s claims have not been independently tested here, so this is a review of the design and published specifications, not a hands-on performance verdict.
How does the one-handed SNGLRTY watch tell time?
SNGLRTY says OHI displays the hour and minute at one location on the dial. Read the hour from the hand’s tip; read the minute where the hand aligns with the minute disc. Instead of scanning separate hour and minute hands, you interpret their relationship.
According to the company, the hand rotates clockwise while the minute disc moves counterclockwise through a reverse-gear mechanism. That opposite motion is fundamental to the display and may take a little time to read intuitively. SNGLRTY describes OHI as its exclusive complication, made up of fourteen micro-mechanical parts, and says the concept was developed with Swiss horology engineers Le Cercle des Horlogères. OHI2 vs. OHI4: what changes?
SNGLRTY pairs the reverse-minute complication with different Sellita base movements and executions. The figures below are published by the manufacturer; they were not independently measured for this review. Rate specifications are not a guarantee of the accuracy an individual wearer will experience.

On paper, OHI4 brings the more elaborate movement execution, a longer stated reserve and tighter stated rate figures, along with a thinner case and a different crystal. OHI2 is the simpler movement option. Those distinctions are useful when comparing configurations, but the published rates should not be read as observed real-world accuracy or as proof of a particular result on the wrist.

The SNGLRTY Black Hornet OHI2 product page lists the watch at CHF 4,480 including VAT and says international shipping is included. These are current manufacturer-published details accessed in 2026; price, stock and purchase terms can change.

The 100 m figure is SNGLRTY’s stated water-resistance rating; it does not, by itself, establish suitability for a particular water sport. Check the maker’s guidance for the activity you have in mind.
Is a SNGLRTY watch worth the price?
That depends chiefly on whether the OHI display is what you want from a premium watch. Its one-hand, reverse-moving-disc layout gives the watch a clear identity, but it also changes a familiar habit: reading time requires learning the dial’s two-part indication. If quick, conventional legibility is your priority, inspect the display in person before committing. SNGLRTY says it has retail locations and invites prospective customers to contact the company to find one.

The Black Hornet is a concrete OHI2 example at the manufacturer’s listed price of CHF 4,480 including VAT. The case dimensions, materials and movement figures provide a basis for comparing it with other watches, but specifications alone cannot establish how the watch feels, how easily its display reads in everyday conditions or how accurately a particular example keeps time. No hands-on wear or independent performance test is established here.

SNGLRTY’s website says it ships internationally and that duties and taxes depend on the destination. The homepage describes a 30-day money-back guarantee; the configuration page says a watch may be returned in the same condition within 30 days for a full refund. That page also says stocked configurations are expected within four weeks, while customized components may change the delivery estimate. Confirm the applicable return, tax, shipping and delivery terms with the seller before ordering, as these details can change.
