The article did not identify exact references, so these sightings do not establish precisely which versions he wore—or what is in his collection today.
Which Omega Speedmaster did Milo Ventimiglia wear?
In a September 3, 2019 feature, Fratello contributor Nick Gould identified a Speedmaster Professional on Ventimiglia. Gould said he spotted it on a black NATO strap in an Ellen Show sketch and found a paparazzi photograph showing the same model. Fratello did not provide an exact reference number or the strap’s dimensions. Read Fratello’s original report.
The report also said Ventimiglia had bought a new Omega Speedmaster after he could not find a vintage example at a price he considered right. It does not identify that purchase more precisely, so it should not be assumed to be the exact watch in either image.
He also reportedly wore the Speedmaster Reduced
Fratello says Ventimiglia wore a Speedmaster Automatic—often called the Speedmaster Reduced—on a NATO strap for a photo shoot on May 30, 2019. The article does not specify its reference or strap model. These are identifications reported by Fratello, not confirmation of Ventimiglia’s present-day collection or an Omega endorsement.

What else did Fratello report about his watches?
The 2019 feature described Ventimiglia as a watch wearer with pieces from multiple brands, rather than an official Omega ambassador. It also reported vintage Rolex watches in his collection: a gold Day-Date reference 1803, a steel Oyster Perpetual Date, and a two-tone GMT-Master.
Fratello linked the Day-Date story to a 2017 Mr Porter interview, reporting that Ventimiglia bought a 1963 Day-Date as he entered his fourth decade. The feature also said a vintage 1977 Rolex was given to him after he landed the role of Jack in This Is Us, with “Jack” engraved on the back. These details are Fratello’s account of the interview and watch history; they do not establish a current inventory.

What does “Speedy Tuesday” mean?
“Speedy Tuesday” began in 2012, when Fratello founder Robert-Jan Broer posted a Speedmaster photograph on Facebook on a Tuesday and used the phrase as its caption. Fratello says it became the working title for a recurring feature and grew into an editorial and collector community—not a program sponsored or financed by Omega. Fratello’s Speedy Tuesday background describes the series and its history.
Fratello and Omega later collaborated on two limited editions: the Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday Limited Edition, subsequently known as ST1, in 2017, and ST2 “Ultraman” in 2018. Fratello reports that each was limited to 2,012 pieces; its account says ST1 sold out in four hours and fifteen minutes and ST2 in two hours. Those are historical figures reported by the publisher, and neither edition should be taken as currently available.
Can you identify or buy the exact watch?
No exact Speedmaster reference, case dimensions, or NATO strap specification is given in Fratello’s report. The Speedmaster Reduced had been discontinued by the time of the 2019 article, while the feature described the Moonwatch as still available then. Fratello quoted €4,700 including VAT for the Moonwatch at that date; that is a historical price, not a current quote. Current pricing and availability are not established here.

If you are comparing the reported Professional with Omega’s current Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional family, treat that as a product-family comparison—not proof that a current listing matches Ventimiglia’s watch. Likewise, the black NATO strap seen in the report is not enough information to select an exact replacement: check the watch’s lug width and strap fit before buying.

In an AMC Q&A published March 23, 2020, Ventimiglia is identified as a star of This Is Us and as a participant in a Ride With Norman Reedus trip through Japan, including Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. Asked what people should do in Japan, he said: “Remember to be patient.” The quotation and trip details appear in AMC’s Q&A.
