What is the Studio Underd0g x Fears Manhattan?
The Manhattan is a manual-winding watch in Studio Underd0g’s 02SERIES, made in collaboration with British watch brand Fears. The brands tied its name and details to New York and the cocktail: Studio Underd0g describes it as a WindUp NYC exclusive, and a cherry is etched on the caseback. WatchPro reported that the 300-piece release was offered first-come, first-served at the October 17–19, 2025 fair.
Its case takes inspiration from Fears’ Brunswick, according to WatchPro. The result is a cushion-shaped profile rather than a conventional round watch case, pairing a vintage-leaning look with a distinctly modern dial construction.
How does the layered dial work?
A sunburst silver brass base sits beneath a 1 mm amber-coloured sapphire disc. Studio Underd0g says the printed details appear to float above the base dial, with their shadows shifting as the light changes. In darkness, the luminous base helps make those details seem detached from the surface.

The layered effect requires unusually careful production, according to the maker. Studio Underd0g says each CNC machine produces 6–8 sapphire discs per day, with a 50–60% yield; it also reports polishing about 20 pieces in a seven-hour batch, again with a 50–60% yield. These are manufacturer-reported figures, not independently audited production data.

The movement details are not consistent across the official listing. Its specification table names the SW200-2 M Power+ and gives a 63-hour reserve, while a separate section names the SW210-1 and gives 42 hours. WatchPro’s September 26, 2025 launch report also identifies an SW210-1 with a 42-hour reserve. The conflict means the official page should not be read as confirming one unambiguous movement specification.

What strap fits the Manhattan?
The watch has 20 mm lugs and the supplied strap tapers to 16 mm at the buckle. A 20 mm quick-release replacement strap is therefore the relevant starting point, but check the replacement’s lug width, end shape, spring bars and buckle-end width before ordering. The original uses quick-release spring bars; that does not establish that every aftermarket strap will fit or sit correctly.

How much did it cost, and is it still available?
WatchPro reported a US$1,300 launch price in September 2025. That is a historical price, not a current retail offer or resale valuation. Studio Underd0g says the 300-piece watch was exclusive to WindUp NYC 2025, and its product page currently marks it sold out; no current new-stock or resale price is established by those listings.

The Manhattan continues Studio Underd0g and Fears’ cocktail-watch concept, using the amber-and-silver layered dial to give the named drink a visual interpretation rather than relying only on a themed engraving. The related Mim0sa is listed as discontinued and has a grey Alcantara strap, but that limited detail does not establish that the models shared a release schedule or movement specification. Studio Underd0g says its watches are assembled in-house in Great Britain. Fears’ own account says the brand was founded in Bristol by Edwin Fear in 1846, closed in 1976 after 130 years, and was re-established in 2016 by his descendant Nicholas Bowman-Scargill; it also says Fears watches are designed in Bristol and hand-built in Britain.
