The Studio Underd0g x Fears The Gimlet is a limited-edition, hand-wound watch that pairs a Fears Brunswick 38 case with Studio Underd0g’s vivid, full-lume 02SERIES dial design. Just 200 were made for British Watchmakers’ Day on March 8, 2025, at an original price of £1,000 including VAT. Studio Underd0g now lists it as sold out.
What is the Studio Underd0g x Fears The Gimlet?
The Gimlet is a collaboration between British watch brands Studio Underd0g and Fears. Its cushion-shaped case draws on the Fears Brunswick 38, while the dial uses the layered, high-colour approach of Studio Underd0g’s 02SERIES. The lime-cocktail reference appears in the green gradient dial; the combination of bright colour and extensive lume gives the otherwise restrained case a distinctly playful look.
The watch is identified by reference 02GIG. Its design joins traditional proportions and a hand-wound movement with a dial construction intended to look different in daylight and when illuminated.

How does the dial and lume work?
The dial has two notable layers: a green gradient base treated with seven layers of Super-LumiNova, and a 1mm-thick sapphire disc above it. The printed numerals, indices and minute track sit on that sapphire overlay. This construction makes the dial’s printed details distinct from the luminous layer beneath them, while the lume across the base creates the watch’s full-lume effect.

What movement does it use?
The Gimlet is powered by the manually wound Sellita SW210-1. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4Hz, and has a stated power reserve of 42 hours. Its display is limited to hours, minutes and central seconds; there is no date indication.
How many were made, what did it cost, and can you still buy it?
The collaboration was limited to 200 pieces and released exclusively for British Watchmakers’ Day in London on March 8, 2025. Its original price was £1,000 including VAT. Studio Underd0g’s official page now says, “It is now SOLD OUT.” No independently verified secondary-market listing is established here, so current resale availability and pricing cannot be confirmed.

Which replacement strap fits?
The supplied green leather strap is 20mm wide and was made by The Strap Tailor. A replacement strap with a 20mm lug-end width is therefore the most defensible fit recommendation. You can choose leather or another material and colour to change the look, but check the strap’s stated width and return terms before ordering; no specific replacement model is confirmed here.
