Swatch’s HOW MAJESTIC (GZ711) is a Jubilee-themed Gent quartz watch created to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Its defining feature is a calendar wheel that changes the color of the illustrated outfit each day; the dial’s 70 gold-colored dots refer to the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.
What is the Swatch HOW MAJESTIC?
HOW MAJESTIC belongs to Swatch’s JUBILEE collection and was presented as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II’s colorful style. The Platinum Jubilee marked 70 years since she became monarch on 6 February 1952. Swatch Japan announced the watch in February 2022 in connection with that anniversary. What makes the dial distinctive?
Swatch describes a clear dial with white and gold-colored printing and 70 gold-colored dots representing the 70-year reign. The central novelty is a calendar wheel that changes the pictured Queen’s outfit color daily. How water resistance has been reported
There is a notable discrepancy in published water-resistance figures. Swatch’s current international listing gives 3 Bar, while Japanese launch-week coverage published by Impress Watch on 4 February 2022 reported 30-atmosphere water resistance. Impress Watch’s 2022 launch report is a dated report, not the current official specification. The available sources do not explain whether the difference reflects an error, a specification change, or another cause; the figures should not be treated as interchangeable.

The Japanese launch price reported by Impress Watch in 2022 was ¥13,200. That is historical Japanese pricing, not a current global price. Regional Swatch pages checked for this article showed different snapshots: HK$880 with an “Add to cart” option on the Hong Kong page, and AED 460 with a “Notify me” state on the UAE page.
