Swatch—not Omega—introduced SCUBAQUA, a colorful, jellyfish-inspired watch collection, on 8 May 2025. Its 44 mm watches pair solid-color Bioceramic with transparent biosourced material derived from castor oil, and Swatch rates them water-resistant up to 10 bars. That rating is not, by itself, evidence of a particular dive certification or a guarantee of suitability for scuba diving.
What is the Swatch SCUBAQUA?
SCUBAQUA is a Swatch collection. The MoonSwatch reference in the headline points to Swatch’s earlier collaboration with Omega; SCUBAQUA is not an Omega collection. Swatch announced the watches on 8 May 2025 and said they would be available online and in Swatch stores worldwide from that date. Swatch’s US collection page currently shows nine model names, while the launch announcement described an initial five-watch assortment.
What do the watches look like, and how are they made?
Swatch describes the case as a combination of solid-colored Bioceramic sections and transparent biosourced material derived from castor oil. Each model has a colored transparent dial, luminous details, a rubber-like silky-smooth strap and a crown positioned at 10 o’clock. The case measures 44 mm, according to Swatch’s 8 May 2025 launch release.
The jellyfish theme shapes both the collection’s colors and names. At launch, Swatch presented five colors—black, white, blue, red and yellow—and said each watch was inspired by and named after a jellyfish. The current US page lists nine models:

Is SCUBAQUA a dive watch?
Swatch states water resistance up to 10 bars. That is the maker’s published rating; the available product information does not establish a named dive-watch certification, a specific safe diving depth or suitability for a particular scuba activity. Treat “dive watch” as a description of the collection’s style and positioning, not as proof of professional diving capability.

- SCUBAQUA COLLECTION
- Watch Size: 44mm round case with push/pull crown
- Water Resistance: 100 Feet

The crown at 10 o’clock and luminous details are distinctive design features. They do not replace checking the specific model’s instructions and water-resistance guidance before exposing it to water.
How much does a Swatch SCUBAQUA cost?
Prices vary by market and date. Swatch’s US collection page displayed $165 for its listed models when accessed on 8 October 2026. In launch coverage published on 9 May 2025, T3 reported launch prices of £135, €155, US$150 and AU$210. These are separate time-specific reports, not a universal price list; check the local Swatch listing for current availability and pricing.

What should you consider before choosing a model?
The 44 mm case is a substantial starting point when judging fit. T3’s 9 May 2025 coverage additionally reported a case height of 15.4 mm and a lug-to-lug width of 51.5 mm. Those latter measurements are T3’s reported figures, rather than dimensions stated in Swatch’s launch release, and may help readers compare the watch with their wrist and existing watches.
Choose among the listed designs by name and color, then check the listing for your country: model selection, price and any region-specific feature may differ. Swatch’s press release says two designs feature Swatch Pay on certain regional pages; confirm the current local product listing rather than assuming a particular model or market includes it.
