TAG Heuer lists 300 m water resistance and a Calibre 5 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. Those are manufacturer specifications—not the results of a hands-on fit, timing or diving test.
What is the Aquaracer x Bamford?
This is a collaboration between TAG Heuer and the Bamford Watch Department, built on the Aquaracer Date platform. TAG Heuer describes it as a limited edition with a black dial co-designed with Bamford. The brand’s magazine identifies it as a 2020 model, while Bamford describes the design as a titanium tool watch with bold orange details.
TAG Heuer’s UK product page says production was limited to 1,500 pieces. The US product page currently marks the reference discontinued, which establishes its status in TAG Heuer’s catalog, not whether a particular pre-owned example is available.

Design and materials
Titanium construction
The titanium case and bracelet give the watch its central material identity. TAG Heuer’s UK listing additionally specifies a Grade 2 titanium caseback and a sand-blasted case. These descriptions do not establish the condition or finish of any individual used example.
Black dial and orange details
The black dial and orange accents distinguish the Bamford edition within the Aquaracer line. The co-designed dial and orange details are confirmed in TAG Heuer and Bamford product descriptions; no claim about legibility in particular lighting conditions is established by those descriptions.

Movement, water resistance and what the specs do—and do not—show
TAG Heuer lists an automatic Calibre 5 movement, a 38-hour power reserve and hours, minutes, seconds and date functions. The stated reserve is a specification, not an independent measurement of a watch’s current performance. Accuracy, service history and condition depend on the individual example and are not established by the product listing.
The manufacturer lists water resistance at 300 m. That rating is not evidence that a pre-owned watch remains water-resistant now; water resistance can depend on the condition of seals and the watch’s service history. Anyone considering actual water use should seek an appropriate current pressure test rather than rely on the original specification alone.

Price and availability
TAG Heuer’s US page displays $4,750 while marking the reference discontinued. That display is not confirmation of current stock or a current transaction price. TAG Heuer Japan’s 27 November 2020 launch announcement listed ¥420,000 before tax; this is historical Japanese launch pricing, not a current retail or resale quote. The figures refer to different markets and dates and should not be treated as directly comparable.
Neither manufacturer listing establishes current resale-market pricing, active inventory or the authenticity of a seller’s watch. The discontinued status means a prospective buyer should assess a specific listing rather than assume that the brand has the watch in stock.

What to check when considering a pre-owned example
- Reference and provenance: Confirm that the watch is represented as WAY208F.BF0638 and review whatever ownership or purchase records the seller can provide.
- Condition and authenticity: Examine the actual watch and request clear photographs and documentation. The product specifications alone cannot authenticate an individual piece.
- Bracelet and links: Check whether the titanium bracelet is included and whether the supplied links meet your sizing needs.
- Water-resistance evidence: Ask for recent testing or service documentation if water use matters to you.
