The blue-dial TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph is reference WBP1117.BA0047, a 40 mm stainless-steel model in the redesigned 2026 collection. Its TH50-00 solar quartz movement is specified for up to 10 months of autonomy on a full charge, and the watch is rated to 200 metres. This is a specification-led examination, not a report of personal wear or testing.
What is new on the blue-dial Aquaracer Solargraph?
TAG Heuer introduced WBP1117.BA0047 as the blue-dial steel option in a four-reference Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph redesign reported on May 25, 2026. The current TAG Heuer product listing identifies its blue sunray dial, steel case and bracelet, 40 mm case size, and TH50-00 movement. Fratello describes the redesign as having a more angular case, six bezel rider tabs, a fluted flange at 9 o’clock, and toolless quick-release bracelets.
The dial uses applied indexes and rhodium-plated hands and indexes with Super-LumiNova, according to TAG Heuer. The display includes hours, minutes, seconds, and a date at 3 o’clock. A unidirectional turning bezel and screw-down steel crown complete the controls described on the official listing.
How large is it, and what is it made of?
The case is stainless steel, measures 40 mm across the bezel, and is paired with a fine-brushed and polished steel bracelet. TAG Heuer describes the bracelet system as interchangeable, but the captured official listing does not establish lug width or compatibility with specific third-party straps.

Fratello reports a thickness of 11.3 mm and notes that the broader side-to-side measurement, including the case sides, is closer to 46.5 mm. That distinction matters when judging fit: the headline 40 mm is not the full width of the watch’s footprint. Fratello recommends trying it on, and a wrist check is preferable to relying on the bezel measurement alone.
How does the TH50-00 Solargraph movement work?
TAG Heuer describes the TH50-00 as a quartz movement powered by light, converting natural or artificial light into energy and recharging during everyday use. The current product page specifies up to 10 months of autonomy after a full charge in total darkness, says brief exposure to light can power a full day, and gives a battery lifespan of up to 15 years. These are manufacturer specifications, not results from an independent charging or timekeeping test.

Fratello’s 2026 launch report gives 40 hours of sunlight for a full charge alongside the same up-to-10-month autonomy figure. TAG Heuer’s 2022 account of the earlier Solargraph debut instead cited two minutes of full sunlight for a day of operation and six months of full-charge runtime. Those older figures describe the original-generation account and should not be substituted for the current WBP1117 specifications.
Is WBP1117.BA0047 water resistant enough for swimming?
TAG Heuer rates the watch to 200 m water resistance. That is the published specification; it does not establish that any individual watch remains water resistant after wear, impact, or service. The official listing also identifies a screw-down crown. Follow TAG Heuer’s guidance for use and maintenance, and have the seals checked when appropriate rather than treating the depth rating as a guarantee about a particular watch’s condition.

How does the blue steel version compare with the other 2026 models?
Fratello identifies three companion references in the redesigned group. The options differ by dial color, case material, finish, accents, and reported launch price:
| Reference | Configuration | Launch price reported by Fratello (2026) |
|---|---|---|
| WBP1117.BA0047 | Steel, blue dial | €3,050 / US$3,100 / £2,600 |
| WBP1118.BA0047 | Steel, green dial | €3,050 / US$3,100 / £2,600 |
| WBP1184.BF0008 | Grade 2 titanium, polar-blue accents | €3,600 / US$3,600 / £3,050 |
| WBP1190.BZ0003 | Grade 5 titanium, rose-gold-plated accents | €3,800 / US$3,850 / £3,200 |
These are launch prices reported by Fratello, not confirmed current offers. The official WBP1117 listing routes shoppers to “Shop in Store” and does not show a price in the captured product information. The blue steel model is the straightforward choice for someone seeking the familiar brushed-and-polished steel look; the titanium references offer different materials and accents, with higher reported launch prices.

Is this the same blue Aquaracer Solargraph as an older reference?
No. WBP1117.BA0047 is the new blue sunray-dial steel reference described above. Do not confuse it with WBP1114.BA0000, a discontinued black-dial model with polar-blue accents. Match the complete reference number when checking listings, since color descriptions alone can blur the distinction between generations and configurations.
