TAG Heuer announced them in March 2023; the launch prices below are historical, not current quotes.
Two 40 mm references, two color combinations
TAG Heuer announced four steel-and-gold Aquaracer Professional 200 models on March 27, 2023: two 40 mm watches and two 30 mm watches. The two larger references are the focus here. The manufacturer pairs each fumé dial, finished with a sunray satin effect, with a matching rubber strap.

The principal distinction is visual: dial, gold tone and strap color. TAG Heuer’s announcement does not establish a performance difference between the two. The manufacturer identifies WBP2151.FT6199 as the black-dial model; a retailer page has inconsistent dial-color fields, so its color description is not a reliable basis for identifying that reference.
Shared case, movement and functions
Both watches have 40 mm stainless-steel cases, 18-carat gold bezel inlays and crowns, and gold-plated details on the hands and hour markers. They use Swiss automatic Calibre 5 and show hours, minutes, seconds and the date. TAG Heuer specifies water resistance of 200 m (20 atm) for the 40 mm models.

The brand describes a 12-sided unidirectional bezel with alternating edge grooves, horizontal dial lines, crown protection and a steel caseback bearing a hexagon-and-compass motif. These are manufacturer design descriptions; they do not establish how the bezel feels in use or how either watch performs in an independent test.
The Hour Glass retailer lists a 38-hour power reserve for WBP2151.FT6199. That figure is retailer-reported and is not included in the cited Japanese launch announcement; the available retailer listing does not establish a separate reserve figure for the blue WBP2150.FT6210.

What the launch price tells you—and what it does not
For Japan, TAG Heuer’s March 27, 2023 announcement gave an estimated tax-inclusive launch price of ¥638,000 for each 40 mm reference and said sales were planned to begin in April 2023. The Hour Glass page for WBP2151.FT6199 displayed SGD 8,000 when accessed on October 4, 2026. The retailer says suggested prices may change without notice and are not a contractual obligation; the display does not confirm a transaction price, stock status or current availability. Choosing between the black and blue versions
Choose by the combination you want to wear: black with rose gold and a black strap, or blue with yellow gold and a blue strap. The documented specifications do not point to a functional advantage for either colorway. Case dimensions beyond the 40 mm designation, wrist-fit assessments and comfort comparisons are not established by these sources, so a preference based on wrist presence is best checked in person rather than inferred from the color pairing.
