The company describes the material as lightweight and low-density, non-magnetic, and unaffected by gravity and shock. TAG Heuer reports that watches in its laboratories were dropped 1 metre onto a hard surface under a stated 5,000g test. The brand says metal springs bent, silicon hairsprings broke and its carbon-composite hairsprings remained intact. How does the Nanograph fit into the Carrera family?
TAG Heuer’s official magazine places the Carrera’s launch in 1963 and connects its name to the Carrera Panamericana.
