The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon with a teal-green dial is reference CBS5011.FC6566: a 42 mm steel chronograph with an open-work one-minute tourbillon at 6 o’clock. TAG Heuer specifies its automatic TH20-09 COSC movement, 65-hour power reserve and 100 m water resistance. Its UK product listing displayed £31,350 when retrieved; price and availability depend on market and date.
Identify the teal-green Carrera tourbillon
The reference to look for is CBS5011.FC6566. It combines a circular-brushed teal-green dial, applied indexes and an open tourbillon aperture at 6 o’clock, framed by a curved Glassbox sapphire crystal. The case is steel, and the fitted strap is black alligator leather with a folding clasp and push-buttons. TAG Heuer says the curved crystal gives views of the tourbillon from a wider range of angles; that is the manufacturer’s design explanation, not an independent assessment.
Two nearby models are easy to confuse with it:
- CBS5010.FC6543: a 42 mm Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon with a blue dial and blue leather strap.
- CBS2115.FC6616: a 41 mm teal-green Carrera chronograph without a tourbillon.
Checking the reference is the simplest way to distinguish the watch in this article from those visually related Carreras. TAG Heuer’s UK listing for CBS5011.FC6566 gives its current product specifications.
What movement is in the TAG Heuer Carrera Tourbillon?
TAG Heuer specifies an automatic, in-house TH20-09 COSC movement, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and providing a 65-hour power reserve. COSC appears in the movement designation; the supplied product information does not give independent timing results for this individual watch.

- Stainless steel case with a stainless steel bracelet with black ceramic center links
- Stainless steel bezel with a black ceramic top ring showing tachymeter markings. Anthracite sunray dial with luminous silver-tone hands and index hour markers.
- Swiss-automatic Movement
- Case Diameter: 44mm
- Water resistant 200m (660ft): in general, suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not diving
The display combines hours and minutes with a chronograph that reads to one quarter-second. Its counters record up to 30 minutes and 12 hours. At 6 o’clock, a one-minute tourbillon rotates with the escapement inside a cage. TAG Heuer’s 2024 brochure describes the complication as having been designed to counteract gravity’s influence on a mechanical movement. That purpose does not establish that this watch will keep better time in everyday wear, and no independent timing test is provided here.

The 100 m figure is the manufacturer’s rating, not an independent test result. It should not be treated by itself as a complete answer to whether a particular activity is suitable; follow TAG Heuer’s guidance for the watch and its care. The listed price is likewise a snapshot rather than a global price. TAG Heuer’s international page showed a shop-in-store route, and purchase availability varies by market.

Why the teal-green dial?
TAG Heuer’s 2024 Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon brochure says the green dial pays homage to vintage green racing-car colors associated with national racing colors. This is the brand’s stated design inspiration. The brochure also presents the curved Glassbox sapphire as a way to see the tourbillon from more angles.
The design pairs that color with the visible mechanics: the tourbillon is the dial’s focal opening, while the chronograph counters retain the watch’s timing function. Those are features evident in the manufacturer’s description and imagery; they do not amount to a hands-on assessment of wrist fit, finishing, operation or timekeeping.

What the specifications do—and do not—tell you
The published figures establish the watch’s listed dimensions, movement, functions and water-resistance rating. They do not establish how the 42 mm case will fit a particular wrist, how comfortable the strap feels, or how accurately this example performs outside a controlled test. Anyone buying for fit or performance should evaluate those points directly rather than infer them from the specification sheet.

- Global warming accelerates glacial melting, causing severe ecological damage to Earth. Inspired by “Never-Melting Ice,” Agelocer's Swiss Chief Designer Etienne Ruffieux grand launch this full sapphire case free-sprung balance flying tourbillon watch, urging awareness of climate change. Honored with the 2022 German Design Award for its exceptional design, this tourbillon is globally limited to 100 pieces.
- The entire watch case is crafted from 5N (99.999%) high-purity sapphire crystal; 5N-grade sapphire crystal boasts a Mohs 9 hardness rating (second only to diamond) and exceptional transparency. Its superior hardness renders the case scratch and wear resistant, ensuring a flawless, long-lasting finish that stands the test of time. High transparency enables us to clearly appreciate the mechanical artistry of the ultimate skeletonized flying tourbillon.
- Self developed design CAL9001 free-sprung balance flying tourbillon movement, manual winding, 28,880 vibrations/hour, 25 ruby bearings. Satin brushed finish and chamfered edges with premium finishing techniques; Brand logo engraved and gold foiled. Dual mainspring series technology delivers 80-hour power reserve (twice that of standard tourbillon movements). This technology ensures more uniform and gradual mainspring release, resulting in enhanced timekeeping precision and stability.
- The CAL9001 tourbillon movement features the exclusive free-sprung micro-adjustment technology typically found only in luxury timepieces. This free-sprung system eliminates the need for a balance spring regulator, thereby overcoming the timing inaccuracies caused by regulator displacement in conventional mechanical movements. This ensures the watch delivers enhanced precision and stability in timekeeping.
- 50M water resistance for the entire watch; food-grade semi-transparent silicone strap, water/sweat/corrosion resistant, comfortable and durable to wear. Super-LumiNova luminous hands, paired with a butterfly double-press clasp. We promise a three-year global warranty service.
