Its silver sunray-brushed dial, green counters and perforated green calfskin strap set it apart from the similarly named steel Monaco Green Dial. TAG Heuer lists a 40-hour power reserve and 100 m water resistance; those are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.
What is the TAG Heuer Monaco Racing Green?
CAW218E.FC6565 is TAG Heuer’s limited-edition Racing Green version of the Monaco Chronograph. The brand describes its palette as a reference to traditional British racing livery and sports-car dashboards of the 1920s and 1930s. That historical inspiration is TAG Heuer’s account of the design, rather than an independently verified historical claim.
TAG Heuer says the edition is limited to 1,000 pieces. Its official magazine reported on September 19, 2024 that the caseback engraving identifies the watch as one of 1,000. The edition size does not establish current stock or regional availability.

How does the Racing Green design work?
The dial pairs a silver sunray-brushed surface with green opaline counters. Yellow details, including the chronograph seconds hand and 12 o’clock marker, add contrast. TAG Heuer connects those yellow accents to details in British racing liveries, while the green perforated calfskin strap carries the color scheme onto the wrist.

- The watch is powered by the motion of the wearer's wrist. If the watch is not worn for 8 or more active hours per day, it will run slower than usual or even stop briefly.
The case is grade-2 titanium with a sandblasted finish, according to TAG Heuer’s September 19, 2024 magazine article, “Racing spirit in green.” The official product page describes the case as sandblasted titanium.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the TAG Heuer Monaco Racing Green worth buying?
The published information makes the strongest case for this edition if you want the Monaco’s square-case chronograph design in a sandblasted titanium execution, with a silver-and-green dial, yellow accents and a matching perforated strap. The limited run of 1,000 pieces may matter to collectors, but it does not establish resale value or make the watch a better purchase for every buyer.

What to check before buying or changing the strap
- Confirm the full reference, CAW218E.FC6565, on the listing and documentation; do not rely on “green Monaco” alone.
- Check the seller, regional price, availability and applicable warranty directly. The published specifications do not confirm current stock or pricing.
- For a replacement strap, treat the 22 mm lug distance as one compatibility detail, not proof that a particular strap, end, or clasp will fit. Confirm the exact fit with TAG Heuer or the strap maker.
