What Dubai Watch Week 2025 was—and what “best” means here
The seventh edition of Dubai Watch Week took place November 19–23, 2025, at Dubai Mall and Burj Park. The Dubai Government Media Office reported more than 90 participating watch brands and over 20 brand launches. Its release noted that the 2023 edition drew more than 23,000 guests; that is a 2023 attendance figure, not a count for 2025, for which the release gave no total. The event marked its tenth anniversary, alongside 75 years of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons. Dubai Government Media Office, 2025.
As Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Arts and Culture Authority, put it: “Today, we celebrate an event that has grown into a global platform where creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation converge.” That variety is reflected in the selection below: a watch’s place here rests on its particular combination of design, mechanics, craft and significance—not on a claim that it is objectively superior to every other launch.

How the watches differ in character
Complications and mechanical display
The Chopard L.U.C Grand Strike is the most explicitly sound-focused selection: it combines grande and petite sonnerie functions with a silence mode. The Arnold & Son and Girard-Perregaux take different routes into high complications, pairing tourbillons with, respectively, a constant-force mechanism and an open three-bridge architecture. These mechanisms make the watches technically ambitious, but also place them firmly in a specialist, high-end category.
Distinctive materials and surfaces
The H. Moser & Cie stands out for its meteorite dial and rose-gold fumé treatment, while the Daniel Roth makes its movement architecture part of the visual identity with an anthracite guilloché mainplate. The Ferdinand Berthoud combines platinum with black and champagne-gold details. These are different expressions of craft: unusual dial material, decorative finishing and considered color or material contrast.

Dress, sport and everyday proportions
The Laurent Ferrier Classic Origin offers a quieter dress-watch direction through its rose-gold case and beige dial. At the other end of the wearability spectrum, the Tudor Ranger’s two reported case diameters—36mm and 39mm—give prospective wearers a concrete sizing choice. Diameter alone cannot determine fit, and the available reports do not establish thickness or wrist comfort for every model.
Collaborations and scarcity
The Ferdinand Berthoud is explicitly a three-piece Seddiqi-exclusive edition, making its retailer relationship and scarcity central to its identity. The Laureato Three Gold Bridges is limited to 50 pieces. Edition limits can make a watch harder to find, but they do not establish whether any pieces remain available; check with the brand or an authorized retailer for current stock.

Prices and availability: read the figures carefully
The CHF prices in the table are figures reported by Monochrome for its coverage, not live quotations or confirmed current retail offers. The source specifies that the Arnold & Son figure includes VAT and the Girard-Perregaux figure excludes VAT; it gives no equivalent tax qualification for the other quoted prices. The Ferdinand Berthoud was listed as price on request. Prices for the other watches were not stated in the cited roundup, so they should not be inferred from the figures shown.

More launches beyond this ten-watch selection
Dubai Watch Week’s releases were not limited to these ten picks. WatchTime’s event coverage also highlighted the Bulgari Mattar Bin Lahej x Octo Finissimo, Biver Automatique variants and Armin Strom One Week Skeleton Rose Gold. For the Bulgari collaboration, WatchTime reported a 70-piece edition and described the BVL 138 movement as 2.23mm high with a 60-hour power reserve.
