Their key differences are case size, complication, power reserve, edition status and, for two models, specified lug width.
What is new in the 2025 Vintage Rally Healey collection?
Frederique Constant announced the three-watch collection on June 5, 2025, presenting the returning Vintage Rally Healey line as a tribute to Austin-Healey and classic motoring. The company says the line is released once every two years; that is the brand’s description of its cadence, not an independently verified release history. Its announcement calls Healey “one of the most iconic small racing cars” and says it has delighted gentleman drivers since 1952—heritage language attributable to Frederique Constant.
The collection announcement describes the 36 mm limited model’s blue dial as inspired by the metallic blue of the Austin-Healey 3000 MKII BN7. Each watch uses an automatic movement, but the functions and stated reserves differ considerably, especially on the chronograph.

These are manufacturer specifications, not results from independent comparative testing. The larger case does not, by itself, establish that one model is better; the practical choice depends on preferred fit, functions and whether a limited edition matters to you.

What distinguishes each model?
FC-301HGRS5B26: 40 mm, green dial, not limited
This is the collection’s green-dial option and the only one the brand describes as not limited. Its automatic FC-301 movement has a stated 38-hour reserve. Frederique Constant lists 5 ATM water resistance and a 20 mm lug width on the official product page. The brand describes the brown strap as perforated calfskin.
FC-303HLBN3B6: 36 mm date watch, limited to 1,888
The FC-303HLBN3B6 is the smallest of the three. Its automatic FC-303 movement displays the date alongside hours, minutes and seconds, with a manufacturer-stated 38-hour reserve. The brand specifies 5 ATM water resistance and an 18 mm lug width. The blue sunray dial and red seconds hand distinguish its appearance; Frederique Constant says the blue takes inspiration from the Austin-Healey 3000 MKII BN7.

FC-397HLBN5B6: 42 mm chronograph, limited to 1,888
The FC-397HLBN5B6 is the largest model and the collection’s chronograph. Its official product page lists a 62-hour power reserve, longer than the 38 hours stated for each of the other two watches. It is limited to 1,888 pieces and is shown with a navy-blue calfskin strap. The available specifications do not establish independent accuracy or performance comparisons.
Which case size and strap width should you consider?
The three case diameters are 36 mm, 40 mm and 42 mm. Case diameter alone cannot predict how a watch will wear: wrist shape, case proportions and personal preference also matter. If you are selecting a replacement or alternate strap, use the exact reference rather than relying on collection name alone.

Frederique Constant lists compatible strap variants on the 40 mm and 36 mm product pages. A matching lug-width measurement alone does not guarantee that every aftermarket strap end or attachment will fit, so verify compatibility for the specific watch.
