Macworld’s October 7 deal guide reports these prices, but also gives a different Series 12 and SE 3 size-and-price mix elsewhere on its live page. Treat the table as a snapshot, not a guaranteed offer: confirm the product page, case size, GPS or cellular version, condition, seller, and final checkout price. The deal tracker reports the sale ends October 7.
The Ultra 4 price needs particular care: the deal tracker cites $774 against a $799 list price, while Apple’s official store crawl lists Ultra 4 starting at $700. Those figures may refer to different configurations or listings. Do not present $799 as a definitive MSRP; check Apple’s live store and the exact retailer listing before comparing.

Which Apple Watch should you buy?
Series 12: the current mainstream option
The Series 12 is Apple’s latest mainstream model and a useful comparison point if you want current features without the Ultra format. Macworld reports a 24-hour rated battery life and a starting price of $399 for the smaller size and $449 for the larger size; its October 7 deal snapshot lists GPS configurations below those figures. Compare the same size and connectivity before deciding whether the discount is worthwhile.
SE 3: the budget choice
The SE 3 is the lower-priced entry in Apple’s current lineup. Macworld reports $199 for a 40mm GPS configuration against a $249 list price. It omits advanced health sensors available on higher models, so it makes most sense when a lower price matters more than those features. Verify that the offer is for a new watch and the exact size and connectivity you want.

Should you consider last year’s models?
Series 11 and Ultra 3 may be worth considering if remaining stock is substantially cheaper than the newer equivalent. Macworld’s October 7 examples include U.K. prices of £259 for Series 11 42mm, £299 for Series 11 46mm, and £569 for Ultra 3. These are U.K. examples, not U.S. prices; local taxes, configurations, stock, and availability differ. Macworld Managing Editor David Price advises not to dismiss last year’s watches when retailers heavily discount remaining stock, while emphasizing that value depends on the size of the discount.

How to compare Apple Watch deals
A low headline price is useful only when you are comparing equivalent watches. Match the generation, case size, GPS or cellular connectivity, new or refurbished condition, band, seller, warranty, and return terms. Apple also offers trade-in, certified refurbished products, and installment options; check current eligibility, warranty, and payment terms on Apple’s official store.
- Match the model and generation. Compare Series 12 with the same model, and treat discounted Series 11 or Ultra 3 as previous-generation alternatives.
- Match size and connectivity. Check the case size and whether the listing is GPS or GPS + Cellular.
- Check condition and seller. Confirm whether the watch is new, refurbished, or used, and review the seller’s return and warranty terms.
- Compare the complete cost. Include shipping, tax, any service plan or installment commitment, and eligible trade-in credit.
- Recheck the live offer. Confirm stock, color, band, and checkout price before ordering; one configuration can sell out while another remains available.
What to expect for Cyber Monday 2026
Cyber Monday 2026 falls on November 30. The research checked for this article did not confirm retailer event schedules or any specific Cyber Monday 2026 Apple Watch offer. Macworld reports that current Apple Watch models saw discounts of $50–$120 during June 2026 and says retailers commonly offer major discounts during Prime Day and Black Friday. That is historical pattern evidence, not a promise of a particular product or price in November.

Tom’s Guide’s December 2025 Cyber Monday coverage showed discounts across SE, Series, and Ultra models that year, but it does not establish what will be available in 2026. If you can wait, compare late-November listings for the identical configuration and check the total cost and terms. Do not assume Cyber Monday will beat an offer that already meets your needs.

What is the best Apple Watch deal available now?
In the October 7, 2026 snapshot, Macworld reports the Series 12 GPS 42mm at $349 and the SE 3 GPS 40mm at $199. These are volatile listings, and the tracker says the sale ends October 7; verify the exact live offer before buying.
Is Black Friday or Cyber Monday better for Apple Watch deals?
The research does not establish which day will have the better 2026 price. Compare the exact model and configuration across the late-November sale period rather than relying on the event label.
Should I buy an Ultra or a regular Apple Watch?
