A one-off Bugatti built around the Veyron’s legacy
Bugatti’s F.K.P. Hommage is presented as a tribute to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the executive associated with the creation of the Veyron. Time+Tide’s 24 January 2026 feature describes it as the second Programme Solitaire creation, following Brouillard. The feature says the program lets favored Bugatti clients commission one-off cars, with no more than two new creations per year; that annual limit is reported by Time+Tide and is not independently confirmed here.
The feature reports that the Hommage uses Mistral underpinnings and produces 1,600 horsepower, against 1,001 horsepower for the Veyron. Those are the figures given by Time+Tide, not figures independently checked against official specification sheets. Its closing “$15 million” remark reads as a joke, not a verified price or sale record.
What is known about the Royal Oak dashboard clock
Time+Tide describes the in-car piece as a 41 mm Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon with a gradient red dial, mounted in a custom-built winder set into the dashboard. The article says Bugatti calls the assembly a “gondola” and describes it as “powered by the car itself.” Bugatti is quoted as saying the clock was “integrated into this vehicle at the request of the future owner”; the feature does not identify the speaker.

This is not simply a standard wristwatch placed in a holder: the reported winder and dashboard integration make the installation specific to the car. But the feature does not explain the power-transfer mechanism, how the watch is secured or serviced, or whether the assembly can be removed and used as a conventional watch.
