The Chanel J12 Bleu collection pairs matte-blue ceramic with steel in four watches currently listed on CHANEL’s US collection page: two newly listed 33 mm and 38 mm models, plus two limited editions. The 33 mm H11683 is listed at $7,950 and the 38 mm H11684 at $8,350 in the United States; the limited editions are priced upon request. Prices and availability can change. CHANEL’s US collection page was checked on October 5, 2026.

What is the Chanel J12 Bleu collection?

J12 Bleu is CHANEL’s blue-ceramic take on its J12 watch line. The collection page describes the two newer references as highly resistant matte-blue ceramic and steel. The designs bring a restrained, dark blue tone to the familiar J12 format, while the limited editions add gemstones and more elaborate dial treatments.

CHANEL’s official video, published April 2, 2025, described J12 Bleu as one of nine new interpretations presented exclusively at Watches and Wonders. That launch figure is different from the four products shown on CHANEL’s US collection page as checked on October 5, 2026: one is a count of launch interpretations, the other a current regional product listing. The video highlights a matte-blue ceramic watch with baguette-cut blue sapphire indicators. Watch CHANEL’s J12 Bleu video.

Marie Claire UK reported that developing the blue shade took five years, placing the collection within the J12’s 25th-anniversary moment. That is the publication’s reporting, rather than a figure stated on the CHANEL pages cited here. Marie Claire UK’s J12 Bleu coverage.

How much is the Chanel J12 Bleu?

These are the prices shown on CHANEL’s US collection page on October 5, 2026. They are US page prices, not global or permanent prices.

CHANEL’s US blue-ceramic collection listing is the source for the references, descriptions, labels and prices in the table. “Price upon request” means the page does not publish a figure; it should not be read as a price estimate.

What is the difference between the 33 mm and 38 mm J12 Bleu?

The two newer models differ in case size, movement reference and listed US price. H11683 is the 33 mm Caliber 12.2 model at $7,950; H11684 is the 38 mm Caliber 12.1 model at $8,350. The collection page does not provide enough detail to make a broader comparison of their technical specifications.

Case diameter alone cannot determine which watch will feel or look right on a particular wrist. If choosing between them, try both sizes at a boutique or authorized retailer rather than assuming the smaller case is necessarily the better fit.

What do the caliber numbers mean here?

CHANEL says the blue-ceramic J12 uses self-winding Caliber 12.1 or 12.2 movements produced by Kenissi, a manufacturer co-owned by CHANEL. The brand says Caliber 12.2 is used in a selection of 33 mm models. The collection page identifies H11683 as a 33 mm Caliber 12.2 watch and H11684 as a 38 mm Caliber 12.1 watch; it does not list a caliber for either limited edition there. CHANEL’s collection page.

Why H9657 specifications should not be attributed to H11683

H9657 is another 33 mm J12 Bleu reference with Caliber 12.2, but it is not H11683. Its separate CHANEL product page provides detailed specifications that should remain attached to H9657:

  • Case: 33 × 12.94 mm, matte-blue highly resistant ceramic and black-coated steel.
  • Bezel: black-coated steel fixed bezel with a matte-blue ceramic ring featuring a baguette-cut pattern.
  • Dial: matte-blue varnished, set with 12 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.06 carat.
  • Movement: self-winding mechanical Caliber 12.2, with approximately 50 hours of power reserve.
  • Bracelet and buckle: matte-blue ceramic bracelet with a steel triple-folding buckle.
  • Water resistance: 200 m.

CHANEL labels H9657 a limited edition and lists its price as upon request on that product page. Those details do not establish H11683’s dial, dimensions beyond its listed 33 mm size, reserve, water resistance or edition status. CHANEL’s H9657 product page.

Where to check availability and buy

For current stock and purchase options, start with CHANEL’s collection page and its boutique locator, or contact an authorized retailer. The brand says J12 watches are available through boutiques and authorized retailers; verify that a seller is authorized in your region rather than relying on a marketplace listing alone. Availability and prices can differ by location.

CHANEL says every J12 is developed and assembled at its manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The H9657 product page advertises a five-year warranty and selected free maintenance services. Warranty coverage and service terms may depend on region and purchase channel, so confirm the applicable terms for the exact reference before buying. CHANEL’s H9657 product information.
