Which Joshua Vides G-SHOCK models are in the collection?
Casio lists two models on its official US collaboration page: the DW-5600JV-7 and DW-6900JV-1. Both use hand-drawn dial artwork by Vides. The artist’s black-and-white visual style draws on comics, street art and industrial design, as Casio describes it.
The shared visual detail is a Cone motif that appears when the backlight is activated. Each watch also comes in special packaging.
How do the DW-5600JV-7 and DW-6900JV-1 differ?
The main differences are the case shape, finish, color treatment, dimensions and weight. Casio lists the following specifications for both models on its US collaboration page.

Choosing between the two
Choose by the look and proportions you prefer: the 5600 has the smaller, lighter square case and glossy white treatment, while the 6900 is larger and heavier with a matte black finish. Casio lists the same core functions for both, so the specifications provided do not establish one as objectively better.
Are the watches still available?
There is no single worldwide stock status. Casio’s US collaboration archive labels the pair “AVAILABLE NOW,” but that archive label does not confirm current inventory at every US retailer. Check the relevant local Casio store or an authorized retailer for live stock.

Regional listings illustrate why availability needs a market qualifier:
- Casio Singapore’s product page, updated 1 May 2026, said the watch was sold out online and showed limited store availability beginning that date, while stocks lasted. The listed purchase conditions were Singapore-specific.
- Casio Japan’s DW-5600JV-7JR page said online-store sales had ended after strong demand. That status applies to the Japanese online store and that model page.
What is the Japan-market price?
Casio Japan’s collaboration page lists ¥21,450 including tax for each model. This is a Japan-market listed price, not a confirmed price for the US or other markets.
