The company’s identity centres on developing its own movements, particularly the K2 micro-rotor calibre, and connecting design and production with direct sales. What is Horage?
Horage says its story began in 2007, when founders Andreas Felsl and Tzuyu Huang started discussing a new watch brand in Biel/Bienne. The company identifies the Omnium’s Baselworld debut in 2009 and the Jonas-K1 launch in 2015 as milestones. It describes Biel/Bienne as the home of its headquarters and production facility, and says engineering, sourcing, logistics, design, production and marketing are handled in-house, with remote support from team members elsewhere.
The name is pronounced “orage,” with a silent H. Horage explains that it combines “HORA,” Latin for hour, and “AGE,” an English reference to time. The explanation appears on the company’s history page.
What makes the K2 movement distinctive?
The K2 is Horage’s micro-rotor calibre. Unlike a conventional automatic rotor mounted above the movement, a micro-rotor is integrated into it. Horage says this arrangement can help make the overall movement thinner and leave more of its components visible. The trade-off is an engineering challenge: a smaller rotor has less rotational inertia, making it harder to wind the mainspring.

Horage lists three K2 thickness profiles. The figures and performance specifications below are manufacturer specifications; the company page does not provide an independent test report or publication date.

Other K2 specifications Horage publishes include a 30 mm diameter, more than 72 hours of power reserve, 25 jewels, a silicon hairspring, silicon anchor and escape wheel, and accuracy of −4/+6 seconds per day at chronometer level. These are the company’s stated specifications, not independent measurements.
What does Horage say about Swiss manufacturing?
Horage describes the Swiss Made criterion as requiring 60% of a watch’s production value to be Swiss, with its movement assembled, tested and regulated in Switzerland. It claims its watches range from 87% to 98% Swiss and that its movements are almost entirely Swiss. These are company-reported figures; the pages cited do not establish an independent audit of the percentages.

The company also says newer dials carry the name Biel/Bienne, more than half of movement parts are sourced locally, and additional suppliers are within 45 kilometres. Those sourcing details are likewise Horage’s own claims.

What is the Revolution 3 MicroReg?
Horage’s store lists the Revolution 3 MicroReg Founders Edition as a current named model. Its listing specifies a 41 mm stainless-steel case, 10.05 mm thickness, 48.22 mm lug-to-lug length and 22 mm lug width. It also lists sapphire crystals, 100 m water resistance, an inverted K2 micro-rotor, more than 72 hours of power reserve, a silicon spring and escapement, and an FKM rubber strap.
The listing gives a founders price of CHF 4,950 excluding VAT and duties, with shipping included. It projects that the earliest pre-orders would begin shipping in October 2026 and orders placed from September 2026 would be expected in early 2027. Those dates are projections, not confirmation of completed deliveries; prices, availability and delivery estimates can change. Check the live product listing for current terms.

Horage says the standard-stock Revolution 3 MicroReg is expected to cost CHF 6,900. The company also describes a contingency for founders-price buyers if the MicroReg project cannot be delivered: an otherwise identical Revolution 3 without MicroReg. This is Horage’s stated order contingency, not a guarantee about the project’s outcome.
Where can you buy Horage watches?
Horage says customers can buy through its online shop, concierge locations and selected authorized retailers. Its service page names Ming Watch Channel in Hong Kong, Red Army Watches in Singapore, and The Limited Edition UK and James Porter & Son in the United Kingdom as examples. Retailer lists and stock change, so confirm current availability with Horage before travelling or placing an order. The company says its online shop and authorized-retailer system share pricing and stock access.

Horage’s service page lists K2 movement service at CHF 450. It states that the standard warranty lasts two years from purchase and describes a possible two-year extension if the first paid watch service is completed between years two and three. Horage says the warranty and service work must be performed by an authorized provider for the extension to apply.

The page notes that repairs may incur additional charges and that shipments outside Switzerland may carry a surcharge. Because service prices and warranty terms can change, check Horage’s service information before arranging work. Horage also says each product’s QR code is its official warranty reference and can provide product information and authenticity assurance; that is the company’s description of the code, not an independent authentication test.
