The OnePlus Watch 3 43mm has repeatedly been discounted from its $299.99 U.S. launch price to about $250, including a reported $249.99 Amazon price for the Black Steel version. That is roughly $50 off, or 16.7% below launch price—but those reports do not confirm that the offer is live today, August 18, 2026. Check the retailer’s current listing and checkout total before buying. OnePlus’s U.S. launch announcement lists the original price; TechRadar reported the Amazon deal on March 26, 2026.
At $249.99 for a new watch from a reputable seller, it is a compelling option for Android users who want a smaller stainless-steel Wear OS watch and value battery life. It is not for iPhone owners, and the advertised battery figures are manufacturer estimates rather than a promise of everyday runtime.
Is the OnePlus Watch 3 43mm actually $250 right now?
Around $250 is a credible sale price, but the available deal reports establish that the watch has been offered at that level—not that it is still available for that price on August 18, 2026. Reports from February, March and April 2026 documented prices around $250, and TechRadar reported the Black Steel model at $249.99 on Amazon on March 26. Phandroid reported a February offer, another March offer and an April offer.
The $299.99 comparison is the U.S. launch price, not a guarantee that every retailer’s regular price is currently that amount. The documented $249.99 price is about $50, or 16.7%, below launch price. One deal report identified Black Steel; the evidence does not establish that Silver Steel is discounted at the same time or that either color is currently in stock.

Before ordering, open the exact 43mm product listing and check its seller, condition, color, shipping charge, return terms and warranty. Make sure the price is still shown at checkout and whether a coupon, membership or other condition is required. A retailer search page can help locate models, but does not prove a live price: Best Buy’s search results list Black Steel and Silver Steel models without verifying a $250 offer. Deal evidence here concerns U.S. pricing; availability and terms elsewhere may differ.
What you get in the 43mm model
The smaller Watch 3 pairs Wear OS by Google with a stainless-steel case. Its 43.2 × 43.2 × 11 mm case weighs about 37.8 grams without the strap. The 1.32-inch AMOLED display has a 466 × 466 resolution; the watch has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and uses a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 platform alongside a BES2800BP MCU. It takes standard 18mm watchbands. OnePlus’s specification page has the full hardware details.
Wear OS brings Google Play apps and services including Google Wallet, Maps, Calendar and Assistant, as well as notifications, Bluetooth calling, music controls and playback. Health Connect and Strava integration are supported. Google service availability can depend on country and account or service support.

It also offers GPS and other satellite positioning, with running metrics such as cadence and stride length, and swim metrics such as laps, distance and SWOLF. These features make it a broad everyday tracker, not a substitute for specialized training equipment or medical testing.

The 43mm case is the smaller Watch 3 option and weighs about 37.8 grams before a band is fitted, which may suit smaller wrists or anyone who finds larger watches cumbersome. Its trade-off is a smaller screen and battery than the larger Watch 3. Do not assume the larger model’s dimensions, materials or endurance apply to this one: check that a retailer listing specifically says 43mm.
The 43mm version uses stainless steel and 2.5D cover glass. It is a practical choice if you want a smaller case with a full Wear OS experience, but it is not described as using the same materials as every configuration of the larger model.

Battery claims: useful, but scenario-dependent
OnePlus rates the 43mm watch for up to 60 hours in standard Smart Mode, up to 36 hours in its heavy-use Smart Mode scenario, and up to seven days in power-saver mode. The company also claims up to 24 hours of normal use from a 10-minute charge and approximately one hour for a full charge. These are manufacturer figures tied to usage scenarios, not independent test results or guaranteed runtimes. OnePlus says actual battery life varies with settings and use. See its product information and battery qualifications.
- Always-on display, GPS workouts, calls, navigation, music streaming and frequent app use can draw more power.
- “Up to 60 hours” does not mean every wearer will get three full days; heavy-use mode is rated lower.
- The smaller model has less battery capacity than the larger Watch 3, so its claims should not be treated as evidence of identical endurance.
- For the stated fast-charging performance, OnePlus specifies its exclusive charging dock and a suitable 3C-certified adapter rated at least 5V/2A.
Check phone compatibility before buying
The watch requires Android 9.0 or later and Google Mobile Services version 23.45.23 or later. It does not support iPhones or Android Go devices. If you use an iPhone, skip this watch rather than assuming that Wear OS will pair with it.
Some features have narrower requirements. OnePlus says camera control requires a compatible OnePlus or OPPO phone running OxygenOS 15 or ColorOS 15 or later. Short-video controls support TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Phone software, region, app versions and service availability can also affect features, so check the official compatibility and feature information against your handset.
Rank #4
Water resistance and health-data limits
The watch is rated 5ATM and IP68 for water and dust resistance; it is not waterproof for every activity. OnePlus warns against hot showers, saunas, hot springs, deep diving and diving. Resistance can decline as the watch ages, and liquid or dust damage may not be covered by warranty.
OnePlus says the watch is not a medical device. Blood-oxygen readings are for reference, while sleep-breathing assessments and cycle predictions are informational and may be inaccurate. Some Health Insights features have limited functionality in Europe and North America. Treat readings as general wellness information, not diagnosis; consult a health professional about medical concerns.
Who should buy, wait or skip?
Buy at $249.99 if…
- The listing is for a new 43mm watch from OnePlus or a clearly identified, reputable retailer, and the price is confirmed at checkout.
- Your Android phone meets the software and Google Mobile Services requirements.
- You want a smaller stainless-steel smartwatch with Wear OS apps, Google services and a battery rated by OnePlus for up to 60 hours in standard Smart Mode.
- You value standard 18mm band compatibility and a smaller case more than the larger model’s battery capacity.
Wait or compare if…
- The current price is near $300, or shipping, membership fees or required offers erase much of the discount.
- The only low-priced listing is refurbished, open-box or from a marketplace seller whose warranty and return terms are unclear.
- A newer OnePlus model is similarly priced, or you would rather have a lighter or thinner design.
Skip it if…
- You use an iPhone or Android Go device.
- You need LTE/cellular independence, ECG or clinically oriented health features.
- You mainly want specialized training and recovery analytics; Garmin models are more sports-focused, while Fitbit-style trackers prioritize simpler health tracking. A Samsung Galaxy Watch may suit Samsung-phone owners seeking closer Samsung Health and ecosystem integration. A Pixel Watch may appeal for Google integration, but the deal coverage cited here contrasts its battery life with OnePlus’s claimed endurance; these are use-case distinctions, not live-price comparisons.
Verdict: a good deal only when the listing checks out
The OnePlus Watch 3 43mm is worth considering at $249.99 if you want a compact Wear OS watch and the unit is new, compatible with your phone and sold with clear warranty and return terms. The price has been reported repeatedly, but that history is not proof that the promotion remains live today. If checkout shows a price near $300, or the deal depends on stock with unclear seller or condition, compare alternatives or wait rather than treating an old sale report as a current offer.
