Geneva Watch Days 2026 produced a broad mix of playful design, inventive displays and familiar watchmaking platforms refined in new directions. These are the releases that stood out across editors’ selections and event recaps—not a definitive ranking, but a set of watches worth understanding for what they do differently.
What defined Geneva Watch Days 2026?
The event ran September 2–6 in Geneva. Chrono24 Magazine and Wallpaper* each reported 71 participating brands, a record for the event, according to Chrono24. Geneva Watch Days is separate from Watches and Wonders Geneva, whose official 2026 event page lists 65 participating brands.
In Chrono24’s September 7 retrospective, Jorg Weppelink characterized 2026 as a year of consolidation: many releases extended existing platforms or drew on history rather than introducing revolutionary technology. That is one publication’s reading of the season, not a shared verdict. And not every watch launched during the Geneva watch week came from an official participant.
Editors’ standout picks
Hodinkee’s Griffin Bartsch published his editors’ selection on September 10, after the team had time to consider the launches. It includes some watches from beyond Geneva Watch Days proper. Treat these as personal favorites rather than a best-in-show ranking.

Laurent Ferrier Classic Moon Dusk in yellow gold
Bartsch singled out this limited yellow-gold annual-calendar moonphase for its restrained palette: taupe, chocolate and gold, with an obsidian moonphase display. Hodinkee reported a price of CHF 93,000; that launch-era figure is not a statement of current local pricing or availability. The appeal here is classical watchmaking presented with subtle color rather than a dramatic redesign.
M.A.D.3 Vincent Calabrese
Bartsch liked the M.A.D.3 enough to place an order, praising its playfulness and its tribute to independent watchmaking. Chrono24 describes the M.A.D.Editions release, from MB&F’s creative platform, as using an unusual flowing display for hours, minutes and seconds. It is a more experimental choice than the Laurent Ferrier: the display itself is the conversation, so it may take longer to read at a glance. Neither cited account establishes current stock or resale value.

MING 57.05 Comet
The 57.05 Comet is a worldtimer highlighted by both Hodinkee and Wallpaper*. The latter reports a patent-pending daylight-saving adjustment: turn the outer bezel 15 degrees to advance only cities observing daylight-saving time. Wallpaper* also reports a 200-piece production limit and a CHF 6,950 price. Those details are the publication’s reporting, not independently confirmed current availability or pricing.
Bulgari Octo Finissimo Vianney Halter
Hodinkee’s TanTan Wang praised the collaboration’s layered, steampunk-inspired look. Its displays cover two time zones, date and day/night. Wallpaper* reports a limited run comprising 30 titanium pieces and 10 in pink gold. The design is a more ornate counterpoint to the MING’s functional world-time solution; the quantities and materials are as reported by Wallpaper*.

Other releases to compare
Monochrome Watches’ September 6 recap and Chrono24’s retrospective show how varied the event’s releases were, from a dive watch with a luminous dial to a jumping-hour complication and a revived historic name.
| Watch | What stands out | Price or edition detail reported |
|---|---|---|
| Doxa SUB 300 Ti5 | Monochrome reports five references in Doxa’s signature colors, a titanium case, Sellita SW200 automatic movement and rubber Dive Flex strap. The WhitePearl version has a fully luminous dial. | EUR 2,990 retail price, as reported by Monochrome in 2026. |
| Zenith Chronomaster Solo Sport | Monochrome reports a steel case, ceramic rotating bezel, textured dial, extendable folding clasp and El Primero 3620 automatic calibre. The range comprises three time-and-date versions and one no-date version. | CHF 8,900 for the No Date and CHF 9,900 for date versions, as reported by Monochrome in 2026. |
| Bremont Terra Nova Jumping Hour | Chrono24 and Wallpaper* note the burgundy dial amid a broader dark-red palette. Wallpaper* reports 35 mm and 40.5 mm versions retaining calibre BC634; its account says the jumping hour changes in under a tenth of a second. | Not stated in the cited recaps. |
| Gallet relaunch | Chrono24 describes a full collection inspired by Gallet classics and positions the brand as an entry-level label alongside Breitling within the House of Brands. “Entry-level” is Chrono24’s characterization, not evidence of a particular price point. | Not stated in the cited recap. |
| Berneron Mirage Miroir | Chrono24 describes a dial concept that shifts the display and a redesigned Caliber 238 whose components also serve as the time display—an example of an independent maker integrating movement and indication. | Not stated in the cited recap. |
How to choose among the standouts
The most useful distinction is not a single “best” watch, but what kind of experience you want from the design and complication.
Rank #4
- For traditional elegance: the Laurent Ferrier puts the emphasis on precious metal, restrained color and calendar/moonphase displays.
- For an unconventional display: the M.A.D.3 and Berneron Mirage Miroir make the way time is shown central to the design.
- For tracking more than one time zone: the MING 57.05 Comet is a worldtimer; the Bulgari offers two time zones alongside date and day/night indications.
- For sportier everyday or dive-watch character: the Doxa pairs titanium construction with dive-oriented styling, while Zenith offers a chronograph-family platform in time-and-date and no-date forms.
- For a focused complication: Bremont’s jumping hour makes the hour change the feature, rather than adding a broad suite of calendar functions.
Case dimensions, movement details and launch prices are not reported consistently across these recaps, so a direct on-wrist comparison or current-price comparison cannot be made from them alone. Check the maker or an authorized retailer for current specifications, local pricing and availability before deciding; a reported launch price or limited-edition quantity does not guarantee a watch is still obtainable.
