Is Pebble Round 2 out yet?

Pebble said a following batch of 1,000 would start production after China’s October 1–7 holiday and ship at the end of October. It expected production on remaining orders to begin in early November, shipments to start at November’s end, and preorder shipments to finish by the end of December. These are company estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. The live store lists new Round 2 orders for December shipping.
The company described stainless-steel case manufacturing as the difficult production step: cases are CNC milled, polished and PVD coated, and some samples had cosmetic problems. Pebble reported that only 15% of cases passed incoming quality checks in some rounds and said problems could recur. This is the company’s account of production, not an independent quality assessment. How does the Pebble software ecosystem affect the choice?
Both watches run open-source PebbleOS, work with iOS and Android, and support apps and watchfaces. Pebble reported 2,120 apps and watchfaces made for Time 2 and Round 2 in its July 14, 2026 update. In its September 30 update, it separately reported 1,400 apps and watchfaces especially for Round 2 and 3,000 Time Round apps and faces that scale to the larger display. These counts come from Pebble and have different scopes.
Software and platform limits matter too. Pebble’s July update described notification-reply support in the EU as a future project, not a current universal feature. Pebble also noted that third-party watches on iOS cannot reply to notifications under current platform restrictions.
