Their exact references, colorways, specifications, edition sizes and current availability remain unverified. Here is what Timex does establish, and what buyers should confirm before treating a listing as one of those episodes.
What is Timex x seconde/seconde/?
It is a collaboration between Timex and French creative Romaric André, who works under the name seconde/seconde/. Timex describes the project as a playful take on the color combinations used on watch bezels: the customized second hand gives the wearer an extra visual reference to those colors.
In Timex’s 10 October 2023 description, the collaboration’s Q Timex and M79 Automatic watches generally have stainless-steel cases and bracelets, rotating bezels, luminous dial markings and domed acrylic crystals. The distinctive detail is a customized second hand that nods to the bezel’s color variation. Those are collaboration-level details, not a verified specification sheet for either Episode 3 or Episode 4.
What is known about Episodes 3 and 4?
Timex’s 2023 article refers to a third drop and reports that it sold out within minutes. That supports describing at least one release as a fast-selling, limited drop in Timex’s account; it does not establish the number of watches made, demand for Episodes 3 or 4, or any resale value.

The official information available does not provide a reliable episode-by-episode mapping to reference numbers, individual colorways, exact launch dates or edition sizes. It also does not establish current authorized sellers or episode-specific Amazon listings. Episode 4’s exact model is particularly unresolved, so a detailed side-by-side comparison would risk assigning generic collaboration features to the wrong watch.
Does the later #IYKYK release identify either episode?
No. In a 29 July 2025 article, Timex says the collaboration began in 2023 and describes later Q Timex releases, including a black-dial watch with green accents and a blue version. The article also includes a Q&A in which André says, “Every good series deserves a prequel and a sequel.” This offers context for the collaboration’s continuation, but it does not confirm that either described watch is Episode 3 or Episode 4, nor does it establish the episodes’ specifications.

Is the green-and-black TW2Y48100 Episode 3 or Episode 4?
That identification is not verified. Timex’s current US listing for reference TW2Y48100 describes a 38 mm stainless-steel collaboration watch with a black dial, green bezel, quartz analog movement, acrylic crystal and 50 m water resistance. The listing showed a price of $249 and was marked out of stock when checked on 8 October 2026. These are details for TW2Y48100 only; Timex’s listing does not establish it as either target episode, and its price and stock status can change.

Because there is no verified official episode-to-reference guide in the cited material, check the identity and condition of a specific watch rather than relying on a seller’s episode label. Before buying, ask for or verify:

- Reference number: Match the number on the watch and its documentation to an official Timex product record, where available.
- Colorway and photos: Compare clear photographs of the dial, bezel, hands, case and bracelet. Do not treat resemblance to a later collaboration watch as proof of episode identity.
- Specifications: Confirm movement, case dimensions, crystal and water-resistance rating for that exact reference instead of transferring details from the collaboration generally.
- Release and edition claims: Ask for a source for the claimed episode, launch date or numbered edition. The sources cited here do not establish edition sizes for Episodes 3 and 4.
