Russell Crowe’s publicly documented watches come from two different moments: 29 watches he put up for auction in Sydney in 2018, and a selection he discussed in videos in 2026. The auction pieces are historical lots reported as sold; the later videos show favorites, not a verified inventory of everything he owns.
What watches does Russell Crowe own?
There is no comprehensive, independently verified list of Crowe’s current watches in the cited reporting. Maxim characterized a 2026 TikTok video as showing seven of his favorite watches; Crowe also said he would not show his entire collection, telling Maxim, “That would take quite some time.” Hodinkee likewise cautioned that the videos are not a complete collection tour.
The distinction matters: a watch discussed as a current favorite is not the same thing as an item documented in the 2018 auction, and a watch Crowe selected for a film character is not automatically part of his personal collection.
Which watches appeared in Crowe’s 2026 videos?
Maxim’s February 19, 2026 account names seven watches it says Crowe showed as favorites. Hodinkee’s March 5 report supplies reference numbers for two selected models. The table keeps the publications’ attributions clear rather than treating the video selections as a full ownership list.

Hodinkee also describes Crowe discussing watches from William Wood, U-Boat, Giuliano Mazzuoli and Otsuka Lotec. Those mentions broaden the picture beyond the seven watches in Maxim’s list, but still do not establish a complete current rotation.
A film watch is a separate category
Hodinkee reports that Crowe selected a William Wood Triumph Heat for his role in Beast. He explained, “I wore it as if it was a gift from his daughter to somehow brighten up her old man’s life”. That is evidence of a watch chosen for a character, not proof that Crowe owns it personally.

Which Rolex and Omega watches were in the 2018 auction?
Time+Tide’s retrospective of the April 7, 2018 “The Art of Divorce” auction reports a yellow-gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona as lot 207 and an Omega Speedmaster Professional as lot 214. It gives reported sale results of $48,800 for the Daytona and $17,080 for the Speedmaster Professional. The cited excerpt does not specify a currency, so these figures should not be read as a particular currency amount.
The auction list also included a Rolex Yacht-Master (lot 203) and Rolex Cellini (lot 217), as well as other brands and models. Time+Tide names, among others, Panerai Luminor Submersible (lot 198), Panerai Luminor GMT (lot 199), Breitling SuperOcean Heritage Chronograph (lot 200), Breitling Avenger Seawolf (lot 202) and Cartier Tank Américaine Chronograph (lot 206). These are auction records, not a current ownership list.

Did Russell Crowe sell his whole watch collection?
No. In a February 2, 2018 tweet quoted by Time+Tide, Crowe said the Sydney auction would feature 29 watches, “Representing over half my collection,” and estimated that “21 or so” of the watches on sale were chronographs. That establishes that the auction included a substantial portion of his collection at the time, not all of it.
Time+Tide also quoted Crowe saying, “Never had a flash watch as a kid. Certainly made up for it as an adult haha”. The comment offers a personal explanation for his interest, but it does not turn the auction record into a complete account of what he owned then—or owns now.
