Its detachable case and support are the defining feature; the A110S edition was announced as a serialized run of 516 watches worldwide.
What is the Tissot Alpine On Board Automatic A110S?
It is a Tissot automatic chronograph made in collaboration with Alpine for the A110S. Swatch Group Japan’s 2020 announcement identifies the watch as the Tissot Alpine On Board Automatic, reference T123.427.16.081.00, and describes a worldwide serialized limited edition of 516 pieces. That is the announced edition size, not confirmation of current stock or production status. Swatch Group Japan’s 2020 announcement is the source for the A110S-specific reference and specifications.
How does the watch mount in the car?
The case detaches from the strap and fixes to a support attached to the Alpine A110’s multimedia screen. In that intended setup, the watch can be viewed as a car-mounted clock rather than worn on the wrist. Alpine described the detachable case and mounting concept when it introduced the original On Board Automatic. Alpine’s original On Board Automatic announcement explains that arrangement.
For the A110S edition, the 2020 release also specifies a dedicated stand, allowing the watch to be displayed as a table clock at home or in an office. The announcements describe the Alpine installation; they do not establish universal fit in other vehicles or current availability of replacement supports.

What connects its design to the Alpine A110S?
The A110S-specific release says orange accents on the indices, chronograph hand, pusher rings and strap take their cue from the car’s brake calipers and seat stitching. The dial is described as evoking the gauges of the Berlinette, Alpine’s classic sports car. Alpine’s original announcement additionally links the hands, piston-shaped pushers and perforated leather strap to Tissot PRS 516 design elements.
