Where is the Tissot Collins Street boutique?
The boutique is at 234 Collins Street, Melbourne. Tissot’s official store directory also lists a separate boutique inside Myer Melbourne, at Level 2, 314–336 Bourke Street. The Collins Street opening was therefore Tissot’s first standalone Melbourne boutique, not its first retail presence in the city.
Tissot’s current listing for the Myer store describes men’s and women’s collections and specialist adviser support. Those details apply to the Myer listing; the directory does not establish that the two locations offer identical services. Check Tissot’s official store directory for current listings.
When did it open?
Time+Tide published its report on 14 February 2025 and says the boutique officially opened earlier that week. The report does not give a precise opening day, so a more exact date cannot be confirmed from that account.

What happened at the opening?
Time+Tide reports that the launch included a ribbon-cutting attended by Melbourne Lord Mayor Nicholas Reece, Olympian and former basketball player Lauren Jackson AO, Tissot Australia General Manager Daniel Rugman, and Swatch Group Australia Managing Director Megan Parker. What is inside the boutique?
Tissot describes a 114-square-metre interior combining wood, glass and stone with red accents. The brand says the store includes a heritage area with multimedia displays and a central Tissot Tresor Safe designed for interactive discovery. These are features described by Tissot in its corporate post about the opening.

Tissot says the boutique introduced the Tissot Atelier, a concept for personalised after-sales support. The available description does not specify which repairs or other services the Atelier provides.
Watches shown at the launch
Time+Tide says visitors could try watches from the PRX range and the new-generation Desir. Its account also mentions the writer wearing a Telemeter 1938 at the event. These are reports of watches present at the opening, not confirmation of what is currently in stock.

How it fits with Tissot’s other Melbourne store
Tissot’s directory lists both 234 Collins Street and the Myer Melbourne boutique on Bourke Street. The directory gives the Myer location as Level 2, 314–336 Bourke Street, and describes its collections and specialist adviser support. It does not establish comparative stock, pricing or service levels between the locations.
