It is a Bucherer BLUE collaboration based on the 40 mm Tissot PRX Powermatic 80. Monochrome Watches reported its introduction on July 22, 2022, identifying the reference as T137.407.21.041.00 and the edition size as 888 pieces. This is not simply any blue-dial PRX: the Bucherer edition pairs its textured blue dial with gold-PVD accents and a smooth bezel. The gold-colored finish is a coating, not a solid 18k gold bezel; Monochrome distinguishes it from a separate blue-and-gold Tissot PRX variant.

The dial has an embossed waffle pattern. The hands, applied hour markers and date-window frame are described as gold-PVD coated, matching the smooth gold-PVD bezel. The blue-and-gold treatment gives the watch a more decorative look than a conventional all-steel PRX.

Integrated steel construction
The stainless-steel bracelet flows directly into the case, following the PRX’s integrated-bracelet design. The launch report describes brushed surfaces with polished accents on the case and bracelet, plus a folding clasp.

How many were made, and what did it cost at launch?
Monochrome Watches reported a limited run of 888 pieces. Its July 22, 2022 launch report gave a retail price of €725 and said the watch was sold through Bucherer stores and bucherer.com at launch. The price and sales channels describe the 2022 launch; they do not establish today’s asking price, remaining inventory or availability.

Current availability for reference T137.407.21.041.00 is not established by the cited pages. Bucherer’s current exclusives page features a different Tissot PRX—a 42 mm automatic chronograph—so it does not confirm that this 40 mm Powermatic 80 remains in stock. Bucherer’s current exclusives page can show what it presently promotes, but the specific reference and seller listing need to be checked directly.

What to check before buying one
- Confirm the reference. Look for T137.407.21.041.00 in the listing and supporting documentation; a blue dial alone does not identify the Bucherer collaboration.
- Inspect condition and completeness. Assess the case, bracelet, clasp, dial and movement condition, and verify which original box, papers or other items are included rather than assuming completeness.
- Evaluate the asking price in context. The €725 figure is the reported 2022 launch retail price, not a current market valuation. Compare current offers for the exact reference and condition.
- Check seller protections. Review the return window, warranty coverage and seller documentation before committing.
