It measures 32 mm across, with a Sellita SW100 movement and 50 m water resistance. Launch coverage and a reviewed dealer listing showed a price of US$10,200, but current price and availability should be confirmed with the seller.
What makes the b/1.3r distinctive?
The dial is the defining feature: its rippled surface is made from solid 18k gold and, according to the brand, takes inspiration from moving water. The layered texture catches light beneath the faceted, asymmetric sapphire crystal. Toledano & Chan describes the b/1.3r as “almost an entirely new watch,” positioning it as an evolution of its asymmetric b/1 design rather than a simple dial-color variation. The brand’s product description presents the gold ripple dial as central to the model.
The choice also reflects the founders’ stated design intent. In an interview with WatchPro, Toledano & Chan said they wanted to create a new dial treatment rather than select another stone dial, which they felt had become commonplace. The answer is attributed collectively to the brand, not specifically to either Phil Toledano or Alfred Chan. WatchPro’s interview also describes the founders’ collaborative sketching process.
The case and integrated bracelet are Grade 5 titanium. The crown sits on the left side, giving the watch its destro layout, and the crystal’s asymmetry reinforces the design’s off-center geometry. Coverage has connected the silhouette to brutalist architecture and 1970s watch design, including Marcel Breuer’s Whitney Museum design; those are reported inspirations, not a claim of direct derivation. How it wears and what the dimensions mean
At 32 mm wide and 31.5 mm long in Fratello’s measurements, the b/1.3r has a compact footprint compared with many contemporary sports watches. Its integrated bracelet and asymmetric case make the stated diameter only part of the fit picture: wrist comfort will also depend on how the case shape and bracelet sit on an individual wrist. The reported 9.1–10.4 mm thickness range reflects differing points of the case and crystal rather than one uniform slab of that height.

The titanium construction distinguishes it from a visually similar steel watch in both material and overall character, while the gold dial supplies the precious-metal focal point. Buyers comparing it with other watches should therefore compare the full combination—case dimensions and shape, dial and crystal treatment, movement functions, water resistance, price, and verified stock—not diameter alone.
Movement, functions and water resistance
The b/1.3r is time-only: it displays hours and minutes, without a date or other complication. Fratello identifies the automatic movement as a Sellita SW100 and reports 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and a 42-hour power reserve. Hodinkee and the dealer listing also report a 42-hour reserve. Its 50 m (5 atm) water-resistance rating is a stated specification, not a guarantee that every activity or use condition is appropriate; consult the seller or brand for practical guidance before exposing the watch to water.

Price, availability and edition size
Fratello and Hodinkee reported a launch price of US$10,200; Fratello specified that its figure was before taxes. Time+Tide’s reviewed dealer page also listed the watch at US$10,200 with purchase controls. That is a reported launch/dealer price, not confirmation of a universal or current price. Fratello, Hodinkee, and Time+Tide provide those respective reports.
Official indexed pages have shown conflicting figures: the product-page result displayed US$6,300 for the US and US$5,700 internationally, while the homepage result showed US$10,200 and sold-out status. Because those listings do not align, confirm the current price, tax treatment, shipping geography, and stock directly with the brand or an authorized seller before making a decision. The official product page’s indexed result identifies the watch as limited edition, but does not resolve the production quantity. The brand’s site is the reference point for checking its current listing.
