Trilobe announced three rhodium-plated editions of Une Folle Journée on 19 March 2025, in black, blue and green. Their distinctive feature is a time display built from three rotating rings read against a fixed pointer; the rhodium finish is applied to the movement bridges, not the case.
How does Une Folle Journée tell time?
Instead of conventional central hands, the watch uses three elevated rotating rings. Read the scales where they meet the fixed pointer: the largest ring shows hours, the middle ring minutes and the smallest ring seconds. Trilobe describes the rings as carrying the scales of time as they rotate.

What is new about the rhodium-plated editions?
The 2025 release brings together black, blue and green versions. Trilobe describes the trio as a new interpretation of Une Folle Journée and says the rhodium-plated movement bridges emphasize the movement’s architecture. The case itself is not described as rhodium plated. Green is the new color highlighted for this trio; the collection page also shows earlier blue and black versions and a Dune edition.
Trilobe called the release “A luminous trio” in its launch copy. That is the brand’s description, not an independent assessment. Watches and Wonders Geneva’s 2025 Trilobe page also lists the rhodium-plated edition among the brand’s presentation.

Movement and specifications
Trilobe’s launch announcement and current collection sheet specify an automatic mechanical X-Centric calibre with a micro-rotor. The figures below are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

Case, dimensions and water resistance
The current collection sheet lists grade 5 titanium and 18-carat rose gold as case-material options. It gives these dimensions: 40.5 mm diameter, 17.8 mm total thickness, 48 mm lug-to-lug and 20 mm lug width. It also specifies a domed sapphire crystal with multilayer anti-reflective treatment and a 10.2 mm dome height, plus a leather strap with pin buckle.

Water resistance depends on the case material in Trilobe’s collection specifications: 5 bar (about 50 m) for titanium and 3 bar (about 30 m) for rose gold. These ratings are not blanket recommendations for swimming or diving. Independent launch coverage describes the rhodium-plated editions in 40.5 mm titanium cases, but confirm the exact reference and case material for a particular color before relying on the collection-wide options or rating.

The launch was announced on 19 March 2025, and Trilobe’s press room lists it under that date. “New” in the original launch framing therefore refers to the 2025 announcement, not a 2026 release. A current price, stock status, production limit and color-specific reference number are not established here; check directly with Trilobe or an authorized retailer for current availability and the exact configuration.
