The Angles Triscope Automatic makes its unusual time display the point: the hour appears in a dedicated jumping-hours display, while the minutes travel along a triangular path. Behind that geometry is an automatic mechanical movement that Angles describes as a Miyota 90S5 base with a proprietary jump-hour module.
How the Triscope displays time
On a conventional watch, hands sweep or tick around a circular dial. The Triscope divides those jobs differently: the hour changes in a discrete jump on its own display, and the minute indication follows a triangular route. Angles calls these functions “Jumping Hours and Triangular Minute Path.” The result is a display organized around shapes and movement rather than a standard pair of hands.
A jump-hour complication shows the hour as a numeral through an aperture or dedicated indicator, advancing to the next hour at once rather than rotating an hour hand continuously. The minute display still indicates the passage of minutes, but on the Triscope its path is triangular. Angles’ campaign described the concept as “Breaking Time’s Boundaries: Instant Hour Shifts and Dynamic Minute Movement”; that is campaign language, not an independent assessment of the watch’s performance or legibility.
Movement and published performance claims
Angles says the Triscope uses an automatic movement based on the Miyota 90S5, paired with an in-house jump-hour module. The creator FAQ lists 24 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, shock resistance, a 36-hour power reserve, and the ability to wind the watch automatically or by hand. These are manufacturer-published specifications; independent testing of the movement or its performance was not established.

Accuracy figures differ by source
Angles’ creator FAQ states an accuracy range of -10 to +30 seconds per day. The current Bare Steel product page instead says “Accurate to +/-10 Seconds a Day.” Those published figures conflict, and neither should be treated as an independently measured result. If daily timekeeping tolerance is important to a purchase, ask Angles which specification applies to the specific watch being sold.
Case, dial and strap specifications
Angles lists a hand-finished 316L stainless-steel case measuring 42.5 mm wide without crown guards, 12 mm thick and 44 mm from lug to lug. The dial is brushed bare metal, with a lume-filled minute track; the crystal is sapphire with an anti-reflective coating. The stated weight is 60 g.

The watch is specified with a 20 mm nylon strap and a tool-free quick-release springbar system. Replacement straps therefore need to fit a 20 mm lug width, and quick-release springbars make swaps easier without a separate springbar tool.
Water resistance and everyday use
The creator FAQ rates the Triscope at 50 m (5 ATM). That is the maker’s stated water-resistance rating, not a guarantee for every activity or for a watch whose seals have aged or been damaged. The reviewed official material does not establish a more specific activity recommendation, so check Angles’ guidance before exposing the watch to water.

Production, campaign and current listing
The creator FAQ says each colorway is limited to 300 watches and individually numbered on the caseback. That describes the stated production limit, not the number still available.
The Kickstarter campaign ran from February 10 to March 3, 2026. Kickstarter’s campaign page reports 260 backers and HK$1,405,710 pledged toward a HK$100,000 goal, and shows an update dated August 19, 2026. Those are campaign-page figures, not an independent assessment of delivery or subsequent ownership experience.

At the time reflected by the current official product listing, Angles offered the Bare Steel version for $980 and marked it in stock. Treat that as a listing snapshot: price and inventory can change, and the relevant currency, taxes, shipping costs and regional availability depend on the buyer’s location.

The Triscope is best understood as a display-led mechanical watch: the unusual feature is the combination of a jumping hour and a triangular minute path, supported by automatic winding. Angles says novel and often exclusive complications are central to its design approach; that is the company’s own positioning, not a third-party comparison.

The available official material establishes the brand’s stated specifications and campaign details, but not hands-on testing, independent validation of accuracy or water resistance, or long-term ownership results. Those limits matter most if you are choosing the watch for timekeeping precision or water use rather than for its distinctive display.
