What is the Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze M79012M?
The M79012M-0001 is the bronze-bracelet version of TUDOR’s Black Bay 58 Bronze. Its case and bracelet give the watch a more unified bronze look than a bronze-cased watch paired only with a conventional leather or fabric strap. TUDOR says the case’s colour evolves with the wearer’s habits, but does not promise a particular patina or aging rate.

How much does the Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze cost?
TUDOR’s U.S. product page lists a suggested retail price of $5,850 as of October 8, 2026. The page says the watch is available exclusively at TUDOR boutiques and notes that prices and models may change. This is a U.S. suggested retail price, not a live-stock confirmation or a quote for another market.
For context only, TUDOR’s 2021 Swiss press material listed CHF 4,300 including Swiss VAT. Monochrome Watches reported the launch price as EUR 4,250 and CHF 4,300 in its June 28, 2021 article. Those are historical European and Swiss launch figures, not current prices. Neither figure should be directly compared with the current U.S. price without accounting for market and date.

What is the Tudor M79012M lug-to-lug measurement?
TUDOR’s 2021 press material gives a 48 mm lug-to-lug measurement. The current model page lists a 39 mm case diameter, 11.9 mm thickness and 20 mm lug width, but does not state lug-to-lug. The 48 mm figure is therefore attributed to the 2021 specification sheet.

Does the Black Bay 58 Bronze come with a fabric strap?
Yes. TUDOR lists a brown-bronze fabric strap with a yellow centre line and bronze buckle as included with the bronze bracelet. That gives the owner a strap alternative without needing to source one separately.
How does the T-fit clasp adjust?
TUDOR describes the bronze bracelet clasp as having rapid adjustment. Monochrome Watches’ 2021 hands-on report specifies up to 8 mm of extension in five positions. That exact measurement is from the dated independent report; TUDOR’s current product page does not state an extension distance.

What does the 2021 hands-on review establish?
Monochrome Watches’ article by Brice Goulard, published June 28, 2021, is a hands-on report on the M79012M. It is useful for the launch context and its account of the bracelet clasp, but it is not a current test or a basis for claims about present-day stock, long-term wear, or a guaranteed patina. No personal wear experience is claimed here.

The defining choice is whether a bronze case and bracelet suit your preferred look as they change colour over time. At 39 mm, the case is compact by contemporary dive-watch standards, while the 48 mm lug-to-lug figure gives a more useful sense of its length across the wrist. The 200 m rating and unidirectional dive bezel provide substantial water-resistance capability on paper; they do not replace appropriate care or establish suitability for any particular activity.

The bronze bracelet is the most distinctive part of the package, and T-fit adjustment adds a convenient way to alter its fit. The included fabric strap also offers a different wearing option.
