TUDOR’s Black Bay 31/36/39/41 steel watches are not presented in the official material reviewed as a new 2026 revision. The press kit dates their introduction to 2023; TUDOR’s current collection page presents the line as Black Bay One. The four sizes share a fixed-bezel design and five-link steel bracelet, but differ in movement and power reserve as well as case diameter.
What changed—and when?
The title’s suggestion of a fresh tweak needs a date check: TUDOR’s press kit identifies the Black Bay 31/36/39/41 as a 2023 introduction, and the current collection page groups the watches under the Black Bay One name. The official materials cited here do not identify a separate 2026 revision to these four models. TUDOR’s current Black Bay One collection page describes a refined, versatile interpretation of the Black Bay design; that is the brand’s positioning.
The 2023 press kit lists steel references 79600, 79640, 79660 and 79680. It specifies polished and satin-finished steel cases, flat sapphire crystals, screw-down crowns and water resistance to 100 m (330 ft). How do the four sizes differ?
Case diameter is only one difference. TUDOR pairs each size with a specific Manufacture calibre, and the 31 mm model has a shorter stated power reserve than the other three.

According to the 2023 press kit, these are COSC-certified, self-winding mechanical calibres with silicon balance springs and a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz). The power-reserve figures are approximate and published by TUDOR. TUDOR’s 2023 press kit
What does the bracelet and T-fit clasp do?
The collection uses a five-link bracelet in 316L steel. Its T-fit clasp allows tool-free adjustment across five positions, with up to 8 mm of rapid adjustment, according to TUDOR’s current collection page. Which dials and bezel options are available?
TUDOR describes the cases as curved and the dials as sunray-finished. The collection page lists black, silver, blue, anthracite and light champagne dial options across the collection and its configurations. Diamond-set bezel options are listed for 31, 36 and 39 mm; the collection overview does not extend that option to the 41 mm model.

Start with wrist fit and the proportions you prefer, then compare dial and bezel choices. Check the exact reference for dimensions rather than assuming one size’s measurements apply to another. Once the fit and appearance are right, the movement comparison is straightforward: the 31 mm uses the MT5201 with an approximate 50-hour reserve; the 36, 39 and 41 mm use calibres with approximately 70 hours. Verify the reference and configuration with TUDOR or a retailer, since availability can vary.
