The March LA.B AM2 Automatic “Nyctalope” Carbon, Millésime March 2026, is a 169-piece limited edition with a forged green-and-black carbon case, a dark green luminous dial and an automatic La Joux-Perret G100 movement. The brand’s blue-light effect is a product claim, not an independently verified performance result.
What is the AM2 Nyctalope Carbon Millésime March 2026?
This is March LA.B’s seventh “Millésime Mars” edition, released as a 169-piece limited run. The reference is AM2NCTLPMLSM26. Monochrome Watches also reports the 169-piece limit in its March 3, 2026 coverage; the brand’s product page identifies it as the March 2026 Millésime.
Monochrome describes the AM2 as an angular, 1970s-inspired design. Its account says the AM1 evolved into the AM2, which was released in 2011, and notes that Millésime editions also appeared in 2024 and 2025.
Case, dial and size
Forged carbon case
The octagonal case measures 38 × 44 mm, 12.8 mm thick, with a 20 mm lug width. March LA.B specifies forged green-and-black carbon, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, a black PVD crown and a skeleton caseback. Water resistance is listed as 10 ATM/100 m. Monochrome describes the carbon’s marbled appearance as green strands among the fibres; its explanation is that randomly oriented strands mixed with resin create the pattern under heat and pressure. The brand’s specification identifies forged carbon but does not detail the production process.

Green dial and luminous details
The dark green dial has a textured central motif inspired by the jacquard straps, a date window at 6 o’clock and indexes cut from solid blocks of Super-LumiNova. March LA.B specifies gunmetal PVD hands with Super-LumiNova. Monochrome additionally describes peripheral lume plots and a green numeral in the date display.
What does “Nyctalope” mean on this watch?
March LA.B says the carbon case absorbs blue light and releases it in darkness. The brand further says that under a blue-light lamp the carbon becomes luminescent and gradually illuminates, creating electric reflections. These are manufacturer descriptions; no independent test of the effect is available here.

Monochrome notes a language contrast behind the name: in English, “nyctalope” refers to a person with night blindness, while in French it describes a person or animal capable of seeing in the dark. The watch’s luminous dial elements are part of the connection to that night theme.
Movement and stated performance
The automatic La Joux-Perret G100 caliber powers the watch and displays the date. March LA.B lists approximately 68 hours of power reserve, 24 jewels, dimensions of 24.6 × 4.45 mm, a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 alternations per hour), stop seconds and a rate range of −4 to +6 seconds per day. Those accuracy figures are the brand’s specification, not the result of an independent timing test. Monochrome also identifies the G100 and reports the 68-hour reserve and 28,800-vibrations-per-hour frequency.

Straps, included accessories and warranty
The listed package includes two interchangeable Julien Faure jacquard straps made in France:
- Black jacquard with a titanium buckle.
- Green jacquard with a black PVD steel buckle.
March LA.B also lists a travel case with an integrated pin-pusher, a black PVD spring-bar tool and a two-year international warranty. The 20 mm lug width is useful when considering strap dimensions, but it does not establish that any standard replacement strap will fit the watch’s attachment system or that a particular alternative is available from the brand.

Monochrome reported a tax-included retail price of €2,495 in its March 3, 2026 article. Daniel Gérard listed the same reference, AM2NCTLPMLSM26, at €2,495 and showed “Dernière pièce disponible”/“En Stock” when accessed; that is a retailer inventory snapshot, not a promise of current stock. The brand’s localized storefront has shown different regional price presentations, including €2,557.38 for Portugal and 290,500 ISK for Iceland, and the Portugal listing showed “Sold out.” These observed storefront values and stock messages can vary by region and date, so check the relevant local listing before purchase.
What this first look can—and cannot—establish
The published specifications describe a compact, angular carbon AM2 with a long stated power reserve, date display, luminous dial and two included textile straps. They do not establish how accurate this particular watch is in use, how it wears on the wrist, or how clearly the carbon responds to blue light. Those points require hands-on assessment rather than inference from the product description.
