The TUDOR Ranger is available in a 36mm case with a pale dial TUDOR calls “Dune white.” It reads closer to sandy beige or cream than bright white: the exact M79930-0008 product page labels it “Beige.” The fabric-strap configuration combines a simple field-watch layout with a smaller case option alongside the 39mm Ranger.
What is the 36mm Dune White Ranger?
Reference M79930-0008 is TUDOR’s 36mm Ranger with a beige domed dial and a green fabric strap striped in red and beige. TUDOR’s Ranger family page calls the color Dune white, while its product specifications use beige; “Dune White (beige)” captures both official descriptions without suggesting a stark white dial. TUDOR’s Ranger collection and the M79930-0008 product page show the current range and exact configuration.
The “Explorer-style” description refers to the uncomplicated expedition-watch format, not the model’s name: TUDOR presents this as a Ranger. Its design uses Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12, painted hour markers and arrow-shaped hands. TUDOR links the Ranger’s heritage to the British North Greenland Expedition and says the Dune White color subtly acknowledges its involvement in the Dakar Rally. The company describes the models as carrying that legacy into 36mm and Dune white versions in its February 19, 2026 release.

How the 36mm Ranger differs from the 39mm
TUDOR’s current Ranger lineup includes 36mm and 39mm watches, with black and Dune White/beige dial options. The smaller case is not simply the same specification scaled down: TUDOR identifies MT5400 in the 36mm and MT5402 in the 39mm family. A 36mm case may suit someone seeking a less wide watch, but diameter alone cannot establish wrist fit. The case, lug span, strap or bracelet, and individual wrist shape all affect how a watch wears; no hands-on fit comparison is established here.

Price: check the exact configuration and market
Official U.S. prices differ between TUDOR’s current product listing and its February 19, 2026 release. The release lists suggested prices by size and configuration, while TUDOR’s product page displayed a different amount for M79930-0008 when checked on October 8, 2026. These figures should not be treated as one consistent current price.

Who should consider the 36mm version?
The 36mm Ranger is the option to compare if you prefer a smaller case footprint, a 19mm lug width, or the Dune White/beige dial and striped fabric strap combination of M79930-0008. The 39mm remains an alternative in the same family, with a 3mm larger diameter and a different movement designation. Neither size is inherently the better fit; if possible, compare both on your wrist and include the strap or bracelet you would actually wear.
