The Tusenö Shellback V2 is a Swedish microbrand automatic diver-style watch with a 40 mm case, 200 m water resistance and a generation-dependent Sellita movement. The current V2.1 is specified with a 65-hour power reserve; earlier V2 listings use different SW200 variants, so check the exact version when buying.

These specifications are from Tusenö’s Shellback product pages. The brand’s current listings include V2.1 blue, black and white versions as well as earlier V2 colorways.
Which movement does the Shellback V2 use?
Movement specifications depend on the generation. Tusenö’s current V2.1 pages list the Sellita SW200-2 Power+ Elaboré, a stated regulation of ±7 seconds per day and maximum deviation of ±20 seconds per day, and a 65-hour power reserve. Earlier V2 references are listed with Sellita SW200-1 Elaboré or SW200 automatic movements. Those earlier versions should not be assumed to share the V2.1’s reserve or movement specification.
Independent launch and hands-on coverage of the original V2 identifies a Sellita SW200 or SW200-1 automatic movement: Time+Tide’s hands-on listing and Notebookcheck’s launch report both describe the original generation rather than establishing the specification for every later variant.

Case size and wrist fit
At 40 mm across and 47 mm lug-to-lug, the Shellback has relatively compact dimensions for a diver-style watch. Its listed thickness is 11.9 mm excluding the sapphire crystal, so that number should not be read as a crystal-inclusive total. The dimensions provide a useful baseline, but fit also depends on wrist shape and how the bracelet sits; trying the watch on is the surest way to judge it.
Bezel, dial, lume and bracelet differences
The bezel rotates in 120 unidirectional clicks. Its material varies: Tusenö lists ceramic on blue, black and DLC references, while the white version uses stainless steel. The DLC black reference adds a black DLC hardening coating; standard variants list 1200HV clasp hardening.

The watch uses double-domed sapphire with an inner anti-reflective coating. Tusenö describes one dial as “A diver watch with a pitch black enamel sandwich dial.” The lume is specified as Grade A and X1 BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova. The flat-top bracelet tapers from 20 mm at the lugs to 18 mm and has a diver clasp with hidden on-the-fly adjustment.
Is the Shellback V2 a good dive watch?
Its stated 200 m water resistance, screw-in crown and unidirectional bezel give it the core specifications associated with a capable diver-style watch. The compact 40-by-47 mm footprint, sapphire crystal, lume and adjustable bracelet are practical hardware features. These specifications alone do not establish performance under real-world diving conditions or constitute independent testing; buyers who need a watch for actual diving should confirm suitability and operating instructions with the manufacturer.

Availability, delivery and warranty
Availability differs by colorway and generation. Tusenö’s V2.1 pages describe limited-production pre-orders with Q1 2027 delivery, while other variants may show stock or shipping status. Check the exact variant page for current price, order status and estimated delivery before purchasing; stock and timing are not interchangeable across the lineup.
Tusenö states that its watches are covered by a two-year warranty from the day of delivery and that service partners operate in Sweden or Switzerland. Review the warranty terms and confirm service arrangements for your location with the brand before ordering.

- Confirm whether the listing is a V2.1 or an earlier V2, then match the movement and reserve to that generation.
- Verify the bezel material and finish for the specific colorway.
- Check the exact page for price, stock or pre-order status, and delivery estimate.
- Compare the 40 mm case, 47 mm lug-to-lug measurement and bracelet taper with your fit preferences.
- Read the applicable warranty terms and confirm where service is available.
