What is the Tusenö Supervintage?
Supervintage is Tusenö’s shaped, dress-oriented collection, a departure from the Swedish brand’s better-known sports-watch designs. The polished stainless-steel case is oval and curved, with a double-curved sapphire crystal and a display caseback showing the decorated movement. Tusenö says the dial’s outer area is integrated into the case structure rather than made as a separate dial component. The styling is vintage-inspired, but this is a modern watch, not a vintage model. Fratello and Monochrome both note a resemblance to Cartier’s Baignoire, while describing Tusenö’s treatment as its own; that is a visual comparison, not an indication of a relationship between the brands. How the size may wear
The 34.5 mm diameter gives only part of the fit picture. The 40.5 mm length, curved case and lack of conventional projecting lugs also matter. Fratello and Monochrome describe the watch as wearing compactly or having more wrist presence than its dimensions suggest; those are reviewer impressions, not a guarantee for every wrist. What to know about the hand-wound movement
The ETA 7001 must be wound by hand; it is not an automatic watch. That makes winding part of ownership and is a meaningful distinction if you prefer a watch that winds itself while worn. The manufacturer’s reviewed specifications identify the caliber and decoration but do not publish its frequency or power reserve. Fratello reports 21,600 vibrations per hour, 17 jewels and a 42-hour reserve; Monochrome instead gives a 3 Hz frequency and about 45 hours. Dial options: Classic or cocktail colors?
Tusenö’s collection includes Classic Black and Blue alongside the Negroni, Mojito and Espresso Martini variants. The cocktail models take their names from drinks and use distinct color palettes and dial textures, according to the brand. Tusenö’s collection page.

Choose by how much color you want on the wrist: Black or Blue is the more restrained direction, while the three cocktail names correspond to more expressive palettes. Fratello reports spending hands-on time with the three initial cocktail models and says the author’s favorite became Negroni after wearing them; that is one reviewer’s preference, not a general ranking. Check before replacing the strap
The supplied Italian leather strap is curved where it meets the case and uses quick-change spring bars. Although its width tapers from 18 mm to 14 mm, a generic 18 mm strap should not be assumed to fit the case correctly. Confirm compatibility with Tusenö before ordering a third-party replacement. Who should consider the Supervintage?
- It may suit you if you want a compact, shaped dress watch, value a display back and are happy to wind a mechanical watch manually.

- Look elsewhere if you need an automatic movement, higher water resistance for regular water use, or a conventional strap fit without checking compatibility.
