Gerald Charles announced two 100-piece Maestro 2.0 Meteorite editions on January 14, 2026: a dark, red-accented Darkblast and a silver model with gold accents. Both use a layered Muonionalusta meteorite dial, automatic Calibre GCA2011, a 50-hour power reserve and 100 m water resistance. The Silver was listed at $28,400 before sales tax on the brand’s product page; the Darkblast page showed pre-orders with delivery after two months but no price in the retrieved listing.

What distinguishes the two meteorite-dial models?

The main difference is the finish and color treatment, not the published movement or case dimensions. Gerald Charles describes Darkblast as the visual moment of impact and Silver as the calmer aftermath. These are the brand’s design interpretations, rather than independent assessments.

How the layered meteorite dial works

Gerald Charles says each dial has a thin layer of Muonionalusta meteorite above an aluminum plate. Radial apertures reveal the colored baseplate beneath the meteorite. The Roman numerals and indexes are deliberately displaced, and the small-seconds display sits at 6 o’clock.

The manufacturer estimates the meteorite to be more than 4.5 billion years old. That is the brand’s estimate, not an independently verified age assessment. In the launch announcement, the brand framed the Darkblast’s red glimpses and fiery small-seconds display as impact, while the Silver’s silver surface and gold accents suggest the aftermath. Gerald Charles credited creative-team head Octavio Garcia with devising the dual-layer construction.

Shared specifications

The manufacturer publishes the same core specifications for both versions:

  • Dimensions: 39.00 mm wide, 41.70 mm long and 9.00 mm thick.
  • Movement: automatic Calibre GCA2011.
  • Power reserve: 50 hours, according to the 2026 product pages.
  • Water resistance: 100 m / 10 ATM, according to the 2026 product pages.
  • Small seconds: positioned at 6 o’clock.

Gerald Charles calls this its first meteorite timepiece with a small-seconds indicator. That description comes from the manufacturer’s January 14, 2026 launch announcement.
