What are the two Patek Philippe Milan watches?
References 5531G-012 and 5531G-013 were introduced for the Watch Art Grand Exhibition Milan 2026. They are part of a wider set of seven limited-edition timepieces paying tribute to Italy, rather than the complete exhibition collection. Patek Philippe’s Milan exhibition announcement describes that seven-watch program.
The two 5531G models share a 40.2 mm white-gold case and the R 27 HU movement, which combines a minute repeater and world-time display. Their distinguishing feature is the cloisonné enamel scene at the center of the dial.

Patek Philippe’s official 5531G-013 page confirms the night scene and five-piece edition. It describes city names in Italian, with Milan picked out in red. Launch coverage identifies 5531G-012 as the day version. The available specifications do not establish a meaningful difference between the two watches’ case or movement.

What the R 27 HU movement does
The R 27 HU is self-winding and combines two functions. World time presents the time in 24 zones, with a 24-hour indicator distinguishing day from night. The minute repeater chimes the local time for the selected zone. Patek Philippe specifies two classic gongs, attached directly to the caseband.

Why reports put the price near €800,000
Le Nouveau Réveil reported a price of €794,600 per watch in its October 6, 2026 article. Hodinkee reported €807,830. Those are conflicting published euro figures, so neither should be treated as a confirmed universal price. Patek Philippe’s 5531G-013 page displays £686,240 in the regional view represented there; that price is for a different market and does not settle the euro discrepancy. Prices may vary by market, and the listed figures should be read with their source and region in mind.
