Ubiq.co combines visual report building and SQL-based analysis, but teams should verify current database support, pricing, refresh behavior, and security details before adopting it.

Ubiq.co is browser-based business intelligence (BI) software for building reports and dashboards from database data, using either visual tools or SQL. It may suit teams that want both approaches, but its fit depends on whether it supports your databases and reporting requirements. Public evidence is limited: G2 shows one review, and current pricing and detailed security practices are not established by the vendor pages reviewed here.

Which Ubiq does this review cover?

This review is about Ubiq.co, a web-based BI and reporting product. The name is also used by unrelated products, including a spatial media app and Ubiq Hive, a wireless presentation system for conference rooms. Their features, prices, and reviews do not describe Ubiq.co.

What does Ubiq.co do?

Ubiq describes its software as a way to analyze database data, create reports and dashboards, and share results. Its product pages present two ways to work: a drag-and-drop visual workflow for building reports, and SQL for users who need to write more advanced queries. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independently verified test results.

Visual reporting and SQL

The visual editor is intended to help business users build reports without writing every query themselves. For more involved analysis, the vendor says users can use SQL for tasks such as joins, nested queries, and aggregations. Before choosing the product, check whether the visual editor can handle your routine reports and whether your analysts can express the remaining logic in SQL.

Interactive dashboards and sharing

Ubiq lists filters, drill-down, calculations, automatic refresh, and sharing among its capabilities. The available product information does not establish the depth of its permission controls or how dashboard updates perform in everyday use. Ask for a demonstration using a representative dashboard and confirm who can view, edit, or share the resulting reports.

Which databases and exports are supported?

Database compatibility is a key decision point for any BI tool: a promising report editor is of little use if it cannot access the data your team needs. An older Ubiq database-reporting page names MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, and Amazon Redshift, and lists PDF, PNG, and CSV exports. Because that page is older, treat these as provisional examples rather than a complete, current compatibility list. Confirm connector and export support with Ubiq before relying on any specific database or format.

What do users say about Ubiq?

G2 displayed one Ubiq review, rated 4.5 out of 5 when observed in 2026. The review itself was written by a software engineer on February 2, 2024. The reviewer praised dashboard creation and database compatibility, while noting occasional lag in dashboard updates. G2 says the review count is too small to provide buying insight, so the rating is an anecdote—not evidence of broad customer satisfaction or typical performance.

Ubiq’s homepage also carries testimonials from customers, including a statement by Mo Ghaoui of GAMING DOT ME LLC that the product saves “10x” the time needed to write a query and filters. This is a vendor-published individual testimonial, not an independently measured productivity result.

Pricing, trial, and security details

Ubiq.co’s researched pages advertise a free trial but do not establish its length, current pricing, plan limits, or cancellation terms. Confirm those details directly with the vendor before starting a trial or budgeting for a subscription. Do not confuse Ubiq.co with Ubiq Hive: a pricing page and hardware references surfaced for Hive concern the separate conference-room presentation product.

The available Ubiq.co information does not verify specific security controls, certifications, privacy terms, or data-retention practices. General statements about secure sharing are not enough to evaluate whether the service meets your organization’s requirements. Ask for current documentation and review it against your data-protection policies before connecting sensitive information.

Is Ubiq right for your team?

Ubiq.co is worth considering if your team wants browser-based reporting with a visual workflow for straightforward dashboards and SQL access for more involved analysis. Its suitability cannot be determined from the feature descriptions alone; validate your own sources, queries, refresh expectations, sharing needs, and commercial requirements.

  • Consider it if: your data lives in databases Ubiq currently supports, business users can build the reports they need visually, and analysts can use SQL for more complex work.
  • Verify before committing: current connectors and export formats, how automatic refresh behaves for your workload, sharing and permission controls, trial terms, pricing, and security documentation.
  • Look elsewhere or defer a decision if: you require a verified connector, security certification, or contractual term that Ubiq has not confirmed.

There is not enough independent user feedback or verified operational detail to make a broad recommendation. The practical next step is to check current requirements with Ubiq and test your own representative reporting workflows during the trial.
