UNIMATIC’s Modello Cinque UT5-TANC collaboration with Nigel Cabourn and The Armoury pairs a compact 36 mm case with a navy dial and two contrasting colorways: O.D. green with a navy strap, or navy with a forest green strap. Each reference was limited to 150 individually numbered pieces. UNIMATIC currently marks both versions sold out on its official listings.
What is the UNIMATIC UT5-TANC?
The UT5-TANC is a collaborative take on UNIMATIC’s Modello Cinque, made with British designer Nigel Cabourn and menswear retailer The Armoury. The two references share the same 36 mm platform and navy dial; their case finishes and straps distinguish them.
UNIMATIC’s technical sheet specifies a 316L stainless steel case with a stonewashed Cerakote finish, fixed bezel and screw-down crown. A double-domed sapphire crystal has inner anti-reflective treatment. The listed lug-to-lug length is 43.7 mm, and the strap width is 22 mm.

What movement and specifications does it use?
UNIMATIC specifies a Seiko VH31A quartz movement, which gives the seconds hand a sweeping motion. Its technical sheet lists accuracy of ±15 seconds per month and an approximately two-year power reserve. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

The 300 m rating is a stated specification, not a guarantee of performance in every real-world diving situation. UNIMATIC’s product-page FAQ advises: “Before exposing your watch to water, always make sure the crown and, where applicable, the pushers are fully screwed down and securely tightened.”

How much did the UT5-TANC cost?
UNIMATIC’s UT5-TANC-A product page lists a price of €810 with tax and duties included. Fratello reported €660 excluding VAT. Because the figures use different tax bases, they are not directly comparable; the official listing currently marks the A sold out.
