The automatic Seiko NH35A can be wound by hand, and its seconds hand stops when the crown is pulled to the setting position, a feature known as hacking. UNIMATIC lists a 41-hour power reserve and an accuracy range of −20/+40 seconds per day. These are the manufacturer’s published specifications, not results from an independent timing test.
UNIMATIC rates the U1-EC to 300 m / 1,000 ft / 30 atm and says each watch is individually tested.
