James Bond’s on-screen watches range from early Rolex Submariners and a Gruen dress watch to Roger Moore-era digital Seiko and Pulsar watches and Daniel Craig-era Omega Seamasters. This film-by-film guide covers the 25 authorized EON films from Dr. No (1962) through No Time to Die (2021), while flagging disputed identifications rather than treating the list as an uncontested count.
Specialist inventories are a useful record, but some entries remain under investigation, and sources disagree on certain references. The table focuses on supported identifications attributed to Bond; gadget functions are described separately from the underlying watch.
James Bond watches by film
| Film | Year | Supported watch identification | Notes |

| On Her Majesty’s Secret Service | 1969 | Rolex Submariner ref. 5513; Rolex chronograph ref. 6238 | The inventory lists two references; that does not mean every named prop entry is an additional Bond model. |

| Live and Let Die | 1973 | Rolex Submariner ref. 5513; Pulsar II model 2900 | The Rolex is associated with a gadget; the Pulsar is a digital watch. |

| Licence to Kill | 1989 | Rolex Submariner, ref. 168000 or 16610 | The specialist inventory says both references may have appeared as if they were one watch; preserve the ambiguity. |
| GoldenEye | 1995 | Omega Seamaster Professional 300m ref. 2541.80 | A quartz model, also identified by WatchTime. |
| Tomorrow Never Dies | 1997 | Omega Seamaster Professional 300m ref. 2531.80 | Specialist-inventory identification. |

How to read the list
“Complete” is a matter of scope, not a settled count. The table follows the authorized EON sequence and records supported protagonist-watch identifications. It does not count every background appearance, another character’s watch, or every separate prop as a new Bond model.
A watch can be a real model with a fictional gadget function. In Thunderball the Breitling Top Time is associated with a Q gadget; in Live and Let Die the Rolex Submariner is modified for the story. Those plot features do not make an ordinary retail watch identical to a screen-used prop.

How Bond’s watches changed
Early films pair the Rolex Submariner with the Gruen Precision 510. The Moore era brings digital and quartz watches, including the Pulsar II and several Seikos. Dalton’s films include a TAG Heuer Professional Night-Dive and a Rolex Submariner whose reference is uncertain. Omega’s recurring Bond association begins with the Seamaster 2541.80 in GoldenEye; later Craig-era entries include the Seamaster Diver 300M and Planet Ocean.
OMEGA’s press materials identify the Diver 300M in Casino Royale and the Planet Ocean 600M in Skyfall. Those are brand identifications, while specialist inventories are broader watch-reference sources; the two kinds of evidence need not agree on every film entry.

Non-EON films
Casino Royale (1967) is separately classified from the 25-film EON sequence; the specialist inventory identifies a Sicura Submarine 200. Never Say Never Again (1983) is also outside that sequence. Its watches remain under investigation in the specialist inventory, so no model is asserted here.

Bond’s watch history is best understood as a film-by-film record with explicit uncertainty, not one definitive count. The supported identifications span Gruen, Rolex, Pulsar, Seiko, TAG Heuer, Cartier, and Omega. Disputed references, gadget functions, and watches still under investigation should remain clearly qualified.
