The dial is deep red, sunburst satin-finished and lacquered, with a velvet-finished minutes track. Applied 18K white-gold hands and hour markers use blue Super-LumiNova. Small seconds are indicated on the tourbillon carriage rather than on a separate subdial.

How does the Calibre 2160 work?
The self-winding Calibre 2160 is 31 mm in diameter and 5.65 mm thick. Vacheron Constantin lists 188 components, 30 jewels, a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5 Hz), and an 80-hour power reserve. A peripheral 22K 3N yellow-gold rotor winds the movement while leaving much of it visible through the sapphire back.
The tourbillon carriage performs the small-seconds display and, according to the manufacturer, takes inspiration from the Maltese cross. The watch carries the Hallmark of Geneva.
