What the Schallmauer Automatik is
The Automatik is the mechanical chronograph version of Vandaag’s Schallmauer. It followed the line’s quartz debut, replacing the quartz chronograph with a Sellita automatic movement. The official collection describes the design as inspired by historic pilot watches, with a symmetrical, legible dial. Vandaag says the watches are designed in Oldenburg, manufactured in Germany, and assembled and quality-checked there; those are the brand’s own descriptions, not independent certification. Movement and operation
The current blue Reverse Panda listing specifies a Sellita SW510BHa Elaboré automatic chronograph calibre, a personalized black rotor and a red date disc. The brand gives a 62-hour power reserve, a 28,800-vibrations-per-hour (4 Hz) frequency and says its watchmaker adjusts the movement to approximately ±4 seconds per day. Case size, materials and fit
The current official listing gives a 42.5 mm diameter, 50 mm lug-to-lug length and 15 mm height. It specifies 316L stainless steel, a domed double anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a sapphire display back secured with four screws. These dimensions make it a substantial watch on paper; compare the 50 mm lug-to-lug and thickness with watches you already wear rather than assuming how it will sit on your wrist.
Thickness is not consistent across the available descriptions. Fratello’s March 8, 2022 launch coverage listed 16.3 mm including the crystal, while the current official page lists 15 mm. Dial, bezel and strap
The current blue Reverse Panda variant is listed as limited to 100 pieces. Its listing specifies Super-LumiNova BGW9 or Old Radium lume, a ceramic-inlaid bidirectional bezel with 60-step detents, and a 22 mm strap tapering to 20 mm with integrated quick-release bars. The page’s specification describes the listed blue variant; check the product page for the configuration currently offered.
Chrononautix reported on January 27, 2026, that the newer “Zwo Punkt Null” revision introduced fresh color options and a steel bracelet with tool-free fine adjustment. Water resistance and warranty
Vandaag lists water resistance at 10 bar (100 m / 330 ft). The official collection page advertises a three-year warranty. Both are manufacturer-provided specifications and statements; the stated water-resistance rating alone does not establish suitability for a particular activity. Vandaag’s Schallmauer collection page
Price and how the model has changed

What the earlier hands-on account can—and cannot—tell you
Fratello author Nacho Conde Garzón wrote in March 2022, “I’ve had a chance to check one out myself for the last few days.” He was describing an Old Radium prototype.
