Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 ran April 9–15 at Palexpo, with public access on April 13–15. The completed event brought together 54 exhibiting Maisons and more than 49,000 unique visitors, according to the organizer’s final report. Its public program paired close-up presentations of new watches with guided tours, talks and city events.
When was Watches and Wonders 2024, and who could attend?
The Salon opened Tuesday, April 9, and closed Monday, April 15, 2024, at Palexpo in Geneva. The first four days were reserved for industry professionals. The public could attend during the final three days, April 13–15—a first for the event, according to its January 2024 press kit.
These dates describe the 2024 edition, not a current event schedule or travel guidance.
What could public visitors do?
Public access offered more than a chance to walk past display cases. Visitors could register for small-group presentations of new watches and learn about complications, or join expert-led guided tours. The wider program connected watchmaking with education and Geneva’s city life.

- In The City: The press kit described the city program as free and included performances and a Lost Frequencies concert.

These are the organizer’s reported measures, not independently audited totals. The report gives unique visitors for the week and separately lists professional groups and public ticket sales; those figures should not be added together as though they were mutually exclusive totals.
The final count was 54 exhibiting Maisons. A September 2023 announcement had said 55 brands were confirmed, while the April 4 press kit described 54 exhibiting Maisons and eight new arrivals. For the completed event, the final report is the relevant count.

What design and watchmaking themes stood out?
In its recap, the organizer characterized the 2024 novelties as showing a return to more classic and unisex proportions, bolder colors and interchangeable bracelets. It also pointed to the continued prominence of grand complications and métiers d’art, the decorative crafts applied to watchmaking. These are the organizer’s interpretation of that year’s Salon, not a measured industry-wide trend.
Which watches were announced at Watches and Wonders 2024?
The official novelty archive lists releases from across the Salon’s exhibitors. Two examples illustrate its range: a travel-focused addition to Tudor’s Black Bay 58 line and a new Oystersteel version of Rolex’s GMT-Master II.

Tudor’s event page describes the Black Bay 58 GMT as a new Black Bay model with a GMT Manufacture Calibre. Its bezel combines burgundy, black and gilt hues, and the brand presents it as a watch for travel across time zones, built around the Black Bay 58 case design.
Rolex GMT-Master II
Rolex’s 2024 Oystersteel GMT-Master II introduced a grey-and-black Cerachrom bezel insert to the range. The event page lists Oyster and Jubilee bracelet options.

The archive also lists releases including Cartier’s Animal Jewellery Watch, Chanel’s J12 Automaton Calibre 6, Patek Philippe’s Ref. 5330G-001 World Time with date, and TAG Heuer’s Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph. Watches and Wonders 2024 combined a professional industry gathering with three days of public programming, and the final report recorded both public ticket sales and attendance across the full week. Its release archive provides a useful record of what exhibitors presented, but it does not make every watch directly comparable: specifications and pricing require model-by-model verification.
