Watches of Knightsbridge’s 7 June 2025 London sale featured 196 lots, with pre-sale estimates spanning £500 to £50,000 among six watches highlighted in a contemporary preview. The standouts ranged from a white-gold Cartier Tank Cintrée to a quartz Jaeger-LeCoultre “Buzzsaw.” Those estimates are not sale results; the auction platform later displayed amounts for two lots without specifying whether they were hammer prices or totals.
When and where was the auction?
Watches of Knightsbridge held the auction on 7 June 2025 at Michelin House, 81 Fulham Road, London SW3 6RD. The auction-platform listing gives a 14:00 BST start and records 196 lots. The auctioneer’s catalogue page offered the June 2025 catalogue for £20. Watches of Knightsbridge’s auction page and the auction-platform listing provide the sale details.
A preview published by Time+Tide on 1 June 2025 singled out the six watches below. All figures in the estimate column are pre-sale estimates, not confirmed realized prices. Read the Time+Tide preview.

How the watches differ
Complications and movements
The Cartier Pasha combines a perpetual calendar and minute repeater with an automatic movement; the preview also notes its moonphase. At the simpler end of the movement spectrum, the Master-Quartz is a quartz watch. The other named movements in the preview are manually wound: the Tank Cintrée’s Jaeger-LeCoultre K840 and the Patek Philippe’s calibre 23-300. For the Cristallor, the calibre identification remains tentative in the preview.

Case and dial character
The Tank Cintrée’s white-gold case and black Roman-numeral dial make it the most explicitly described example of Cartier’s elongated dress-watch form in this selection. The Patek Philippe offers a square white-gold case and uncommon four-corner indices, while the Cristallor stands out for its rectangular case and stepped bezel. The Explorer’s “Blackout” designation refers here to its non-luminous 3, 6 and 9 numerals; the “Buzzsaw” label points to the Master-Quartz’s patterned dial.
Accessories and estimate spread
The Pasha is the only highlighted watch for which the preview lists a group of accessories and papers: box, winder, corrector tool and warranty papers. The Tank Cintrée had the highest estimate, at £30,000–£50,000, while the Master-Quartz had the lowest, at £500–£1,000. These ranges describe the auctioneer’s pre-sale estimates as reported in the preview; they do not establish authenticity, condition, market value or the eventual price paid.

What the post-sale listing shows
The auction platform displays £17,000 for the Pasha (lot 16) and £5,200 for the Cristallor (lot 2). Its cited listing does not say whether those figures are hammer prices or totals including buyer’s premium, so they should be treated only as platform-displayed amounts. They are distinct from the pre-sale estimate ranges reported above. The auction-platform listing is the source for those displayed amounts.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What buyers should take from the highlights
The preview’s selection crossed very different collecting interests: high-complication Cartier, unusual vintage dress watches, a distinctive Rolex variant and a comparatively modestly estimated quartz Jaeger-LeCoultre. Estimate alone does not make these watches directly comparable. A prospective buyer would also need the full lot description, condition information and applicable sale terms; the preview’s design and movement notes are not an independent authentication or condition report.
