The episode page’s author praises the EP movements’ feel in subjective terms. That is an enthusiast’s impression, not a measured technical assessment of accuracy, durability, or service condition.
How do the Gallet examples relate?
The show notes describe Gallet watches with a similar visual character to the Excelsior Park examples, but say the Gallet pieces discussed use Valjoux calibers. For a meaningful comparison, confirm the movement in the specific watch being considered. Brand, appearance, and a general association with vintage chronographs are not enough to establish that two watches share a caliber or construction.
