Confirm the exact model and what comes in the set
The BGD-10KPM-7 is Casio’s BABY-G collaboration with POP MART’s Baby Molly, built on the BGD-10K format. Its identifying details include a yellow bezel inspired by Baby Molly’s hair, Baby Molly and Baby Tabby artwork on the band, and a MOLLY 20th-anniversary engraving on the case back. When the light is activated, the LCD displays a Baby Molly face effect. Casio’s product page describes the model and its design features.

The set is also described as including a special holder with strap for charm use, original character stickers and special packaging. For a secondhand, open-box or marketplace listing, check the listing’s contents against that description and request current photos of the actual items. A listing that shows only the watch may not establish that the holder, stickers and packaging are included.
Check fit before choosing it as an everyday watch

These are the manufacturer’s specifications, not a guarantee of how the watch will feel on a particular wrist. Compare its case dimensions with a watch the wearer already finds comfortable, and measure the wrist against the stated band-size range. If possible, try the watch on; a listed range cannot tell you whether the case looks or feels right to the wearer.

Understand the watch-to-charm conversion
Casio says the pass-through band and detachable bezel can be removed without tools, and that the center case fits the included special holder with strap. This lets the BGD-10K move between wristwatch and time-telling charm configurations. Check that the exact listing includes the holder if this second configuration matters to you; the watch itself and the holder are distinct parts of the set.
Know what its water rating does—and does not—establish
Casio lists shock resistance and 10-bar water resistance, also expressed as 100-meter water resistance. Treat that as the manufacturer’s rating for the watch, not as a blanket promise for every activity or for the watch in charm configuration. The reviewed product information does not give activity-specific diving guidance or separately define water-use limits for the charm holder. If you intend to swim or dive with it, check the model’s guide or ask Casio support for guidance applicable to that use.

Check that its functions match your needs
Casio’s product specification lists the following functions and operating figures; these are manufacturer claims, not independent test results:
- World time for 29 time zones across 30 cities, with daylight-saving time on/off.
- A 1/100-second stopwatch with elapsed-time, split-time and first/second-place modes.
- A countdown timer of up to 24 hours.
- Five daily alarms and an hourly time signal.
- A white LED Super Illuminator with a two-second duration and afterglow.
- Full auto-calendar through 2099, button-tone mute, and 12/24-hour display.
- Listed accuracy of ±30 seconds per month.
Prioritize the features you will actually use. The character display when the light is activated and the two-way styling may be central to the appeal, while the timekeeping and timer functions can be checked against the wearer’s everyday requirements.

Allow for battery replacement over time
The specified battery is a CR1616, with an approximate life of three years. Casio’s figure is an estimate, not a guarantee; actual life can vary with use, including use of the light. The reviewed product information does not establish a model-specific replacement procedure or service cost, so check with Casio or a qualified service provider before arranging replacement.

Casio Japan’s listing identifies the BGD-10KPM-7JR as a planned November 2026 release and gives a price of ¥16,500 including Japanese consumption tax. As of October 12, 2026, that release date is in the future. The listing does not establish that the watch is already available, that the planned release will occur on schedule, or that the price applies outside Japan.

It concerns the series, however, and does not confirm the collaboration’s regional release or current stock. Do not use the original 2024 BGD-10K variants’ launch price as the price of this later collaboration.
