Apolis says its jute handcrafting takes place in Bangladesh, while customization is added in Los Angeles. Its practical specifications are clear; its worker-benefit statements are company claims, not independently established impact findings.

Jute handcrafting in Bangladesh
Apolis says the bags are handcrafted in Bangladesh by mothers who receive Fair Trade-certified wages, annual profit dividends and a retirement fund. The company also describes Saidpur Enterprises as a project begun in 1976 to support mothers of malnourished children through jute handicraft employment, with classes and training. These are Apolis’s descriptions of its production and benefits model; the available information does not independently establish worker outcomes or poverty reduction. - Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. - Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Personalization in Los Angeles
Apolis says the bags are sent to Los Angeles, where production associates personalize them using water-based ink. This makes the production story a two-part one: handcrafting in Bangladesh and customization in Los Angeles.
Apolis product pages have displayed different counts of bag owners. Those company counters are not independent measures of income, employment or poverty impact, so they should not be read as evidence of a quantified social outcome.

Will it suit your everyday use?
The 13-by-18-by-8-inch body offers a broad footprint for carrying everyday items, while the inside pocket separates smaller belongings. The listed 3.5-inch handle drop is a useful measurement to compare with your preferred carry style: check whether it leaves enough room for your hand or shoulder, especially if you plan to wear the bag over a coat.

What to check before choosing a size or ordering
- Size and capacity: Confirm the dimensions for the exact version you plan to buy. Apolis describes Standard and Petite options in some collections, but the specifications above apply to the Natural Market Bag listing.
- Handle fit: Compare the handle drop with your hand-carry and shoulder-carry needs.
- Care: The polyurethane lining is described as water resistant, but the listing details cited here do not establish a cleaning method. Check the current care guidance rather than assuming it can be machine-washed or submerged.
- Personalization: Check available text or design choices and the current processing time on the live listing; a lead time is not established here.
- Price and availability: Apolis displayed the Natural Market Bag at $85 when the listing was checked. Price and stock can change, so confirm the live listing before ordering. Review current shipping and return terms there as well.
How to assess the story fairly
If the sourcing and worker-benefit claims matter to your decision, distinguish between what Apolis says it provides and what has been independently documented. The company describes wages, profit dividends and a retirement fund, but the information available here does not establish independent outcome data. That does not prove the claims false; it means a reader should not treat them as independently verified impact results.
