Why is it called the 1957 Trilogy?
OMEGA released the three watch lines in 1957 and issued the Trilogy as their 60th-anniversary editions in 2017. In its official Baselworld 2017 announcement, OMEGA described the original models as the Seamaster 300, Railmaster, and Speedmaster, calling them professional timepieces that became classics. What is distinctive about the Trilogy Speedmaster?
OMEGA describes the Trilogy Speedmaster as a tribute to one of the three 1957 classics, drawing on the original “Broad Arrow” design. Its official product page specifies calibre 1861, a stainless-steel bracelet, and a black “tropical” dial bearing the Trilogy wording and limited-edition number. The page lists the Speedmaster as a limited edition of 557. That figure is the set Speedmaster reference’s stated edition count; it should not be confused with the production counts of separately sold anniversary watches. OMEGA’s product page currently marks the reference as no longer available through that page.
What should a complete box set include?
Phillips’ auction documentation records a wooden Trilogy presentation box and associated watch boxes, straps, manuals, literature, warranty materials, and tools. Accessory contents can vary from one sale to another, so the phrase “box set” alone does not establish that every item is present.

Is the OMEGA 1957 Trilogy set available now, and what does it cost?
OMEGA’s Hong Kong product page says its Trilogy Speedmaster reference is no longer available there. That is a page-specific availability status, not proof that no set can be found through another seller. Auction catalogues document examples in the collector market, but the available records do not establish a current complete-set asking price, a reliable market-wide value, or a live full-set listing. Historical auction documentation should not be treated as a current offer or valuation. Sotheby’s catalogue is another historical auction record; it does not by itself show present availability.

- Verify identity: compare the three stated references with the watches shown, and confirm that all three are included.

- Inventory the accessories: compare the actual contents with the seller’s list, including boxes, straps, tools, manuals, and literature.
- Compare transaction terms: account for seller standing, geography, taxes, shipping, and return conditions.
Because condition and completeness differ between examples, the available sources do not support a single current value for the set.
